Or maybe they think it smells and tastes good. Perhaps. Makes me wonder how things would be if someday we had our tastebuds wired differently. I might actually like brussels sprouts for one. And I might not be as sensitive to spicy things.

Heya, Celest. How're you doing? I'm doing Ok but I've caught a cold so I had to stay at home. How about you Shade? A shame. Colds aren't very fun. Especially if they're accompanied by a sore throat.

Actually, that one is more of a pain-receptor thing than a tastebud thing. It's a shame you don't like spicy things. They can be nice.

And I know they can be nice. I even try some spicy stuff occasionally. And then go 'gah!' and go back to eating non-spicy things.

I read about that in your diary yesterday, and meant to give you a kiss to help you feel better, but the opportunity never presented itself and I forgot about it eventually. .. *gives Shade a get-well kiss* ^__^ A shame. I think it's something one has to get used to over time. xD ..I like the stuff, but I don't like it too often. Gives you bad stomachaches if you have too much.

And we have enough computers not to argue about who gets on when. XD

And really, it's only annoying at night. Which just makes me want to ignore sleep if I wake up in the middle of the night, which I tend to do.

Or honey and milk. Or a glass of the former followed by a glass of the latter. xD ..I have two computers to myself, so I hardly have a problem of having to share. I read about that in your diary yesterday, and meant to give you a kiss to help you feel better, but the opportunity never presented itself and I forgot about it eventually. .. *gives Shade a get-well kiss* ^__^ xD Thanks, kitten. And sickness in general is annoying when you're trying to sleep, because it makes you pretty much unable to.

And sickness in general is annoying when you're trying to sleep, because it makes you pretty much unable to. Not always. Getting to sleep is no more difficult with a cold than normal. Unless it's after I've woken up and am trying to back to sleep. Then it's a pain. It probably is, but it's easier to just not eat spicy stuff than to try and get used to it. Depends where you live. If you stayed in Penang, it's much easier to get used to it than to try and avoid it. xD But I can avoid it here. And that's a very good thing, I think.

Thanks for the advice Kit! ^^ Shade, if you can't sleep, don't try. Read a book for a while and then try to sleep again. That usually helps deal with insomnia.
