Ah college visits. Have fun with those (actually they are kinda fun, depending). I really really should have visited more. I only visited one  My parents are probably going to make sure I visit about a million. ^^; Oh well. [/glow] I'd concede before Kiddo had a chance. XD But I held my own well enough at the Renn Fair when the guy was trying to whup up on me. I actually won that contest. Speaking of Kiddo, that actually reminds me. On Thursday nights here in town, there's a park nearby that it looks like the SCA practices in. I keep meaning to go up and ask if that's who they are and what not. I want to join when I graduate and have the time... |

Yep! Foil. Not very well, yet. Mhm. From what I've read up on it, foils are not only the kind you start with, but also the best for just general practicing. I can't fence at all yet, myself! But I'ma going to learn this year. My highschool doesn't have a very official club--most of our gear's donated from the MN Sword Club or the private schools that have tons of it--but it's fun. They let you start with anything you want to, but epee and saber are both too heavy for me. Foil's fun, though. |
