That's what you call being 'mauled by a thesaurus.' Because thesauri are very violent things if you anger them by using them improperly, you know.

Maw = gaping void... the point is that a maw looks like a mouth, not that it's an actual mouth (ex, "The maw of the abyss was reaching for her as her grip on the cliffside loosened".) It is rarely used to refer to an actual mouth and it certainly doesn't mean muzzle.

Now that I've found where the bracket key is (i spent the longest time having to c&p it from places T_T), I've gotten in the habit of always always ALWAYS typing my own code on the neoboards for italics and things.

I'll give them maw, though it's not really a muzzle. If you want to use it once or twice for effect, it'll work, but not all the time.
