Well, I had 50 chances to screw up and I only did so once. Pretty good track record. Edit: Kat got it- the first Independence Day. I got it off a monument in the park. Try and crack this - ANOTHER important Independence Day. VI/XII/MDCCCXCVIII 6/12/1898 The day the Phillipines were taken from Spain, right? I own page 4!

XD Technically, the Americans came to save the Philippines in a war with the Spanish, and while they were kicking each other's butts, the Filipinos went and declared independence, waving the flag and playing the national anthem for the first time. For a while during the late 1940's or in the 1950's, our independence day was July 4th too, courtesy of our dear American comrades.

XD Translate 9/8/1965, and tell me what significance that date has. As well as 26/4/1991.

I KNEW THERE WAS SOMETHING FISHY ABOUT HIM! See, he's the only instance when I don't like purple. *gasp* And the TNT is evil for making Grarrls look like that... thing with their drumstick thighs and large bellies. *buries Barney with Cerberus* Aww... Just look what you did! It's not HIS fault, is it? Besides, his teeth are sharper, his eyes are cooler, and just look at that long, elegant, pointier tail! *comforts the purple grarrl*

Does the other have anything to do with Lee Kwan Yew?

His Spanish counterpart was Patricio Montojo. Gav - was that your birthday? *BRICK'D TWENTY TIMES OVER* Yowch. Darn it.
