((xDDD Creepy. ARGH COME ON LETS GET THIS WAR GOING ALREADY))
"Is your Lord incapable of speaking for himself?" Shadow turned to Shinobi again. "Are you hiding behind those you swore to help destroy? How ironic." Amused, Shadow returned Tirilia's glare. She then glanced down to see Tirilia's hand on the pommel of her sword.
"Tirilia darling, I think we're both sadly mistaken. How about we allow Shinobi to clear this up, eh? Or are you too afraid that he will pop your bubble of blissful ignorance?"
Shadow stepped back into a clear space and flicked a dagger into her hand - and took an offensive stance. "We can duel, Tirilia, but that won't change the truth - whatever the truth may be."

"Now, now, you two," Ikkin said, walking in between Shadow and Tirilia and pushing them apart. "We don't want any bad blood between the mages and the knights. Shino and Fj0rd are just trying to manipulate us, and it would be best if we stood together against them. I trust Shadow's opinion, and though she may be a ninja in name, she would not lie about a fellow ninja if the only thing to gain would be the enmity of the knights against the ninja."
She sighed. "If there's anyone to threaten, it's Shino. He hasn't been entirely honest with anyone, and I feel that trusting him would be the biggest mistakes that the knights could make. I have already sent Sev to go warn the others."

((*lol* Its okay Ikkin.. *hugs shadow* we're pals now we're just eager to find a reason for the war to start *lol*)) Tirilia looks about to retaliate.. with her blade.. when Shadow's claim stops her.. Destroy us?! She draws herself up, her expression and aura abruptly cold, doubt shows in her eyes but she moves to stand near neither shino or ikkin. At the same time, she draws her sword, but rests its point on the ground between her feet. "I will hear whatever Lord Shinobi has to say for himself... I know no friends in this crowd so it is the word of stranger against stranger"

((Ikkin just doesn't want to see two of the guilds she's in fight, 'cause I'm still a mage, kind of. Bound to her by curse and all. Let's have a miniduel, please? ^_^ I'm so bored waiting for Shino. We can be friends after we realize that neither can kill the other ^_^)) "Are you a coward, Tirilia? You have never been one to turn down a challenge - I challenge you to a duel, Knight!" Shadow whipped out a second dagger. A mysterious black liquid dripped from one tip and fizzed to oblivion on the ground. ((Plus, I wasn't about to let you get away with calling me an "ugly thing" en garde!))

((*lol* I knew I wasnt going to get away with that Calling Shadow ugly is about equal to calling a knight a Coward I think *lol* But shes right Ikkin, our chars have similar qualities, both can slip into ghostly forms.. no one is going to get hurt.. I think)) "Hold your tongue, creature" she snarls back, trying to hold her temper, but at the sight of the second dripping blade she raises her sword without hesitation, although her armor and chainmail would protect her from a simple blade, Shadow's daggers look like they could slit the metal none the less.. slowly she raises the blade to her forehead and sweeps back to her side with a whipping motion that makes the air scream around it.. her left hand moves open palm out to her side and she drops en garde. For a moment her eyes close.. and when they open again, her face is blank, pale. Her eyes lifeless.

[shadow=purple,left,300]And during all this time, Kat was busy with her nose in a spellbook. Typical. She got bored with all the talk - all talk, no action, seriously, when was this going to end?
But overhearing Shadow suddenly challenge Tirilia to a duel made her shut her book and make it disappear behind a puff of purple smoke.
"A duel - already?!" Kat burst out. "But...surely..."
Before she could say anything else, Tiri was down - or it seemed so.
"A duel already?!" Kat said again, much louder and higher than before. "What's with you, just challenging someone to a duel like that? And what about Tiri? What has she done to you?"
Her temper was rising fast.
And her entire body was glowing a fervent purple.
((Sorry...haven't been following. ^^; This is what I get...))[/shadow]

Fj0rd still wanted an answer to her question: Why had Shinobi not brought the Knights? Shadow seemed to think she knew the answer, but Fj0rd was a ninja in many senses of the word--she wanted to give Shinobi a chance to explain himself.
But, it seemed, Shadow and Tirilia didn't think the same way. Fj0rd had taken a careful half-step backwards from the duo when they went into fighting stances. Now she stepped forward, putting her hands out.
"Please," she said. "Let us listen to Shinobi's explanation of why he has done all this. Hearsay and theorizing will get us nowhere."

[shadow=purple,left,300]"It better be a good one," said Kat. With a pleading expression, she turned to Shino. "Please. Give us a good reason to stay here and not go back to where we came from." She stopped glowing purple as she calmed down slowly. "Don't give me a good reason to burn you."[/shadow]

((Not down Kat, Tiri had an affinity with the Spirit Realm, she can place her soul anywhere she wishes. Including outside of her body while her body can continue to fight. It allows her to fight without the fear of death.. that doesnt mean however that if her body suffers a killing blow, she wont die. It just means she can fight without the Fear of dying. Thus why her eyes turn lifeless, no soul . Okay now we're all waiting on Shinobi.. doh)) Tirilia's head moves so quickly its hardly seen, one moment her gaze is on Shadow, the next on Kat.. blinking slowly, the color returns to her eyes, she seems to wince.. turning back to shadow, fj0rd steps between them.. she immediately lowers the point of her blade to the ground again. She comes to the realization that if Shinobi had planed to betray and destroy the knights.. she is the only of her kind here.. in an entire crowd of enemies, but this realization does not show on her face. She knows that the best she can do right now is remain calm..

Shadow sniffed haughtily and resumed a non threatening stance. It wasn't as if the knight could be killed - didn't anyone catch her eyes go blank? Or could only another mystic being sense the departure of a soul? Tirilia was undead for that moment - there would have been no way to kill her.
Shadow was a bit peeved that the others had deprived her of a little entertainment. Just as the sun continues to move across the sky, so must the Shadow follow - Shadow was never still and this torturous wait on Shinobi was driving her close to insanity.
What, could he do nothing but stand there and think whatever thoughts were going through that head of his?
Shadow had a sudden desire to nick him with one of her poisoned daggers, but she was no match for all of the witnesses around. Fj0rd would certainly react also, since she was so focused on allowing Shinobi to prove his innocence.
The daggers were still in hand. The poisons had dried but their potency was not diminished.
Insanity - Shadow could feel the lucidity leaving her - she had to do something -
Flickering slightly in the sunlight, Shadow slid back down into her two-dimensional form, and as quick as the light would allow her to move, she tied the shoelaces together of whoever had shoelaces.
She steered clear of the pirates, however. They had a habit of never washing their feet.

((Note: My post's will now be in two parts, as my cat is now a Ninja))
'Well?' asked the Zari. 'If you want to come, I'm sure you'll be able to find transport. My dragon's in the grounds. But I need to go. Zaha will gut me If I don't.' she said, gathering the cat up in her arms and turning, walking out the door before vanishing.
Zahere Emaya twitched. She hated travelling by fire, even though it was less painfull than deatomizing (which felt like being wrenched apart bit by bit), but It was still annoying- she coldn't stay hidden for long when she stank like singed hair. But the journey was nearly over. 'Sorry, Sir Shino- I had to get Zaha here- she can't teleport.' 'She speak-true. Sorry bad english. Spelltime gone. Hello, Fj0rd, Shinobi, Shadow.' 'She means "She's speaking the truth. Sorry, my english is so bad. The time limit of the spell is up. You can understand most of the rest.' explained the Knight. Zaha shivered and transformed into her biped form. 'So, what summon about?

Distracted, Tamia nodded. "Okay. Dragon," she muttered, wishing that Oran, who might have been able to advise her on what to do with a dragon, was in the castle with her.
Looking up once more at the assembled Knights, she started, "We have to get to the dra--"
However, at that exact moment, a somewhat familiar phoenix burst from the air in front of them. When he was fully materialized, Sev warned, "Something is wrong with Sir Shino. He's in Tabloid Town with all the ninja, pirates, and mages, where you are all supposed to be right now, despite the fact that he told you not to go. Expect danger; something is not right about this." Without a glance, he flew off down the hall, presumably to warn the other knights.
"What?" Tamia said disbelievingly. "Shino went on ahead? By himself? And told us not to follow?" She shook her head. "I don't know what's going on, but the place where we need to be is exactly where our White Knight told us not to be. Tabloid Town."
Almost forgetting about the other knights, Tamia started towards the oak doors. As an afterthought, and because she had never really been much of a leader before, she added, "Let's go." As she stalked down the hall leading to the grounds, she wondered just what would lay ahead of their dragon flight to Tabloid Town.

"What?!" The angry snarl burst from Pyro's lips before she couldl halt herself, sounding more harsh than she had intended it to (though not more angry than she felt). "So Sir Shino may be a double-crosser after all." Her eyes flashed. She had never been a very close friend of the White Knight, but betrayal was betrayal. And for Ikkin to send them an actual warning...that was serious. "Finally, some action," Pyro grinned, her expression morphing into an almost predatory smirk.
As she followed the Orange Knight down the halls, however, her blood quickening in her veins, a small bit of sympathy welled up inside of her, calming her desire for battle and for answers. Looking at Lady Tamia, she realized how much she would hate to be in a position of authority right now, where the king was gone indefinately and the second-in-command was now a possible betrayer.
"So, dragon flight," she called over to the Orange Knight, trying to lift her spirits for the journey. "Should be interesting. If I fall off, feel free to point and laugh. And just where has Zari gone?"

Tamia tried not to think about the concept of being thrown from a dragon in flight. "Hopefully, she's on the grounds, waiting for us," she replied as she neared the doorway, her footsteps echoing on the stone floor. Hopefully, she told herself again. Because if she wasn't, Tamia wasn't sure what she would do.
((It's true, Tamia doesn't know what to do. ^^; What sort of dragon? How do I talk to it? xD I'd hate to barge in and fly off before realizing that you were supposed to be the one controlling the dragon or something.))
