"What is this," Fj0rd said, "Twenty Questions?" She smiled faintly. "You must be truly intrigued to be so impatient. Or is that you have somewhere--better--to be?" [glow=red,2,300]"I'd frankly rather be regaining my RCP losses. The crew has me down to a soulless corpse." ... "Braaaaaaaaaaains...."[/glow]

Shadow shook her head. "The ninja never do anything without reason. To do so would go against their logical and strategic nature."
"You do not care enough about the pirates to merely inquire about their day to day activities," said Shadow to the seemingly emotionless Fj0rd. "There is trouble, I know there is - but whether that trouble is for you or those you have called here, that is why I have come. Your shuriken had a mischievous stink."
Even the shadows have their impatience - Shadow released hers by gutting the White Weewoo with an expertly thrown dagger. The Weewoo gave a cry of surprise before it turned entirely into glass and fell, tinkling, to the ground.
Calmly, Shadow went to retrieve her dagger.

"We ninja may not do anything without reason, but, unless it is pure curiosity that brings all of us here today, it would seem no one else does, either." She tilted her head and smiled at Shadow.

[shadow=purple,left,300]Kat shrugged her head and gazed skyward. "Oh, you know me, Fj0rd. We've known each other for...over a year? Maybe two years? Or more? You know how curious I can get. And about curiosity killing the cat...well, I'm still alive after all this time."
She watched Shadow hurl a dagger at a helpless white Weewoo. Before Kat could act, it turned into glass and shattered.
"You're not the only one with party tricks," said the mage calmly. "I may not be able to bring the Weewoo back to life..."
As her wand flashed into the air, the black rod slowly started growing and taking on the color of steel - in fact, it became steel. The gold star seemed to ebb into the lengthening rod, which only stopped growing when it was as long as Kat was tall, and golden flames erupted from both ends.
Not real flames, though, but they danced with the ferocity of such.
One end started to glow fervently with a deep purple light, and Kat aimed it right at the shards of broken glass, which slowly started forming themselves into a statue of a white Weewoo at the foot of the tree from which it fell.[/shadow]

((Kat, there was a white weewoo in a tree when I arrived. I didn't mean the ship xDDD Plus, poisons would only work on living things - unless the pirates were all living inside the stomach of a giant Weewoo, in which case, carry on.))

Tirilia paces restlessly in the wide echoing throne room of the Knights castle. "What could be keeping him?" She growls to no one in particular although Tamia and Pyro stand right before her. "Confound it, I gave him my word we would wait!" She sighs and finally stops pacing, her hands set behind her back, her eyes fixed blazing on Tamia and Pyro. "To hades with this, I dont assume to speak for either of you my dears, but I want to be ready to leave immediately as soon as word is given. I will meet you both back here soon" Storming from the throne room, she lets the doors swing closed heavily behind her, the resulting boom echoes through the castle, shaking the very stones. Shaking her head in frustration she literally runs into Sir Leo, but before she can apologize, she spots the note bound arrow in his hand "Let me guess" she snarls and shakes her head again "I hope you have not told anyone else My Lord. We are waiting upon Lord Shino's return, suit up if you wish and meet Lady Tamia and Mistress Pyro in the Throne Room." By now she is far too frustrated for formalities, and forgets to curtsy before she storms to her room, throwing aside her casual clothes and rapidly dressing into her golden chain mail and blood red armor. Over which she throws her dark red velvet cloak. This of course, doesnt bring Lord Shinobi back any sooner, but it makes her feel less frustrated. She takes her Saber from the wall and slips it into its sheath at her right side. This done, she returns to the throne room to wait with the others.

((I'm terribly sorry that everyone has had to improvise while I was gone, but...Well...I'm here now so we can get on with it. And to be frank Tirilia, I expected you to not listen to my orders & raise all heaven and earth to follow me. !! By the way, my character is in his usual steel Knights armor, minus the helmet, and a halberd in hand.)) Shinobi made himself visible to the naked eye now as he walked off the ship he had stowed aboard to get here. It was a meager fishing boat, but he had to make due with what was at hand. He figure the less attention he brought to himself the better. Shinobi walked down the road towards the docks of Tabloid Town as he gazed around. He had never been here before & frankly couldn't imagine living in such a place as this. Of course it was a good home for most poor people of the area, but Shinobi thanked his stars that this was only Fj0rd's meeting place. I imagine Lady Tirilia is pretty angry at me right now... Shino thought to himself. Shinobi rounded a corner & quickly ducked back around as he stopped to see the crowd that seemed to gather. A motley bunch they looked like, but he had no doubt that they were pirates. An unethical bunch he had had many encounters with when he was training in the Martial Arts. He was surprised to see them here as well as a few mages at the location of Fj0rd's meeting place. It was no coincidence. He had to expect the worst mostlikely. He hadn't known anyone else was going to be here. He now regretted not bringing his Blue Dragon Spear instead of his halberd, but he was fairly certain he could fight if need be. For now he just rounded the corner again and waded into the crowd of few ninjas, pirates, & mages until he saw the infamous pirate Rider, well-known mage Kat, & the ninja leader Fj0rd whom he had come all this way to see. "Fj0rd-sama. It has been a long time. I come to you bearing the greetings of the Knights." He said as he bowed before her. He had to put on a hospitable act for now. Later he would kill Fj0rd for this.

Shadow was up in a tree. In normal circumstances she would shun places so near the sun, but the canopy of the forest blocked enough sunlight for her to pause there comfortably.
What's that? A new shadow has arrived? They whispered to her from the darkness. One who bears the regalia of nobility yet travels in the transport of a fisherman? Shadow glanced toward the sea from her convenient vantage point.
Surely enough, it was knight. Shinobi had arrived.
His shadow was closer in proximity to Shadow's location than was Ikkin's - Shadow, throwing herself back into the darkness, took on Shinobi's siloughette and followed him toward the group.
As she let Shinobi's shadow do the moving, she drew out another dagger. This one had a stone blade.

[shadow=purple,left,300]"Shino?" Kat followed the sound of his voice as she picked up the glass Weewoo statuette. "Shino, where are the other knights? I mean, I know they're not here..."
Her voice trailed off. She was worried about the knights. What if they couldn't come? What if she was needed there? But for now, her crew needed her as well, and so did the mages, probably...[/shadow]

((*lmao* was sorely tempted hon believe me Unfortunately Knights are supposed to keep their word! -.- darn honor -.-... but to blazes with honor )) Tirilia taps her foot impatiently, the metal ringing against the stone I'm never going to obey such an order again she growls in her thoughts. "No more of this. I'm going to Tabloid Town. and I will send word." With a stiff curtsy she turns with a curl of her cloak and once again slams the doors behind her. Hardly about to walk her way there she retires once more to her room, oddly sitting on the white rug infront of her fireplace. Closing her eyes, her head bows slowly. A powerful chill wind fills the room but moves nothing but her hair and cloak. It surrounds her like a hurricane and she raises her head again, her eyes open, expression and eyes blank and her face pale. Lifeless. "Ealosuyn Adoyn Rywaous Nesqa Iuyns" she hisses in a nether language. Around her the world is abruptly dimmed to a greyblue, sounds seem little but distant whispers. Standing, she looks about herself, her shadow has vanished and her feet leave no dints in the plush of the rug. And in the mirror, no one is there. How she hates the undead realm. But she has little alternative. She walks straight through the wall and out into the air, turning with the wind towards Tabloid Town she allows it to carry her there. Time has no place in the realm of the undead so to describe the feeling of eternity flashing by in a second is virtually impossible. Spirits of all sorts make their greetings to her like old friends and she finds herself led to the forest surrounding the Tabloid Town Square. Alighting on the 'ground' she has to struggle to grasp the words in her mind Snyui Aqsen Suoawyr Nyoda Nyusolae She feels her heart begin to beat again, color flushes back to her skin and she shivers as life returns to her spirit and body. Readjusting the silk mask across her face, she feels her fangs retract and winces. Now recovered, she kneels in the foliage, finding that given the structure of Tabloid Town, she can easily overhear Lord Shino's greeting to the ninja, Fj0rd. And now to wait..

Shinobi had nearly reached Fj0rd. Shadow did not see Tirilia appear but she could feel it - if a shadow could shiver, Shadow did shiver. Another shadow had appeared out of thin air - it had not wandered into her senses, it had not seeped in through magic, it was not a result of the moving Sun - Could it be? Shadow felt she could be sorely mistaken, as her own creation was a tragic and highly rare occurance - but could there be another one like herself nearby? Another Shadow, another cursed traveler of darkness? If Shadow had a weakness, it was "misery loves company." But for now, all attention was focused on the defining moment in history - Shino had arrived, Fj0rd was to reveal to her enemies and allies alike the reason behind her having summoned them there. ((No pressure, Fj0rdy ))

((Ooh boy. xD This is more than a little tangled. I've just stepped onto the dock at Tabloid Town, and I'm standing in the Knights' throne room, apparently at the same time. I'm going to have to go back in time a bit; bear with me...)) As Tamia stepped from the Weewoo onto the worn planking of the dock, she couldn't help but feel puzzled. Not a ninja in sight -- nor anyone else, come to think of it, which was odd for a place that was usually so bustling. She opened her mouth to voice the question, but Oran answered for her.
Everyone's in their guilds. It's that time of the day, the cat said, sitting primly on the dock.
Tamia realized that he was probably right; at a certain time of day, forumers from all across the NTWF would leave for their respective guilds, whether to practice, chat, or, in the Pirates' case, play Random Crap Poker.
"So we're all alone out here," she mused uncomfortably. Hadn't the Ninjas called a meeting?
This bodes darkly, Oran commented in the silence.
"I know," Tamia murmured. "We're just waiting."
No, Oran said, sudden urgency in his thought. He rose to his paws. The bad tidings are not only here. You're needed at the Knights' guild.
Tamia stared, unsure whether to take him seriously or laugh. "Well, that's unfortunate, because I can't exactly just whip back over the sea to the castle."
You're needed. Do what you have to do. He yowled to spur her into action, and then promptly disappeared into a darkened alley.
A little stunned by his unprovoked departure, Tamia had a hard time deciding what she should do. Although untimely disappearances were not uncommon for Oran (he was, after all, a cat), she almost got the feeling that he knew exactly what she would attempt.
Were the Knights in the same situation as the Pirates? Tamia's mind whirled. But if that were true, why would she be needed more there than she was with the Weewoo's crew?
Feeling a little shaky now. Focus. Tamia cleared her throat and searched her mind for an appropriate word. Just like magic. Pick a spell and go for it. Except that she couldn't use magic to save her life, and yet these words worked. It didn't take long before her brain took hold of a word -- effortless, seemingly of its own accord. Hesitantly, she tried, "Portare?"
In less than a second she was standing on a marble floor, gazing up at a huge oak door. The throne room, she thought weakly, half in relief, half in shock. Her legs suddenly felt like they would collapse beneath her, so she slumped against the door and took a few breaths.
***
"No more of this. I'm going to Tabloid Town. and I will send word."
With that, the Scarlet Knight was gone, her cloak flipping angrily behind her. The massive doors slammed, even splintering at the edges, as she passed through them.
This was going horribly. Her new duty to the Knights was still descending on her as if in a dream, and Tamia didn't think that she could possibly live up to the heightened expectations.
Stifling a sigh with difficulty, she turned to the remaining knights. "We must leave. Events are probably already unfolding at Tabloid Town." For a moment, she wondered if the Mages would be involved in this as well; it seemed everyone else was. The entire forum, split into four parts. "Where are the others?"

Zari, layered as her mind was, felt the mention of the Words 'Tabloid Town' and flew down the corridor, landing in front of Tamia. 'If this means strategy and alliances, I'm going. Like it or not!' The Red-clad Knight grinned, causing the white cat next to her to start. Zaha said quietly. 'I haven't seen you grin in a good two years.' 'I can choose this time to be more open.' the Fae turned back to Tamia. 'I don't know where the others are. I'd send a mental message, but I'm not sure how any of them will react. Me being a Fae, most of the Knights don't know. So we should find a few others, and go to Tabloid Town. And quickly. One of them could Hurt Sir Shino, or any other Knights present.'
