(a continuation of the subject...I couldn't fit it all)...Both fiction and not
The first anomaly I'm wanting to discuss is wormholes/portals. A question that has been constantly irritating me is what happens at the edge of a portal/wormhole?
Consider this, if someone stuck their hand in so half of it was on each side (the relative entrance and exit)...and he/she brought his/her hand over and across the edge would it be cut off/in half or would it be solid so that the person could not move past it. If it were solid and someone came at the entrance of it from the side would they run into it or would they go through it as if it was normal space or would they be bent around it? Or would it just be warped/bent around so it would "appear" to be on the opposite side of the entrance they were trying to cross?

Lol...I actually went through my explaination of warpholes and black holes and white holes and all the phenomena of the universe back in some other thread. I'll C&P what I wrote to save my sanity.
Wormholes are also mostly speculation. Wormholes also kinda directly relate to White Holes. A White Hole is a Black Hole running backwards in time. Just as Black Holes swallow things irretrievably, White Holes spit them out. White holes cannot exist, since they violate the second law of thermodynamics (But we still like to make little imaginative theories with our silly scientific minds). Basically (Theoretically), White Holes, when connected to Black Holes, form what is known as a Wormhole...and when White Holes connect to White Holes they form Schwarzschild Wormholes...It's confusing and hard to explain...o0 Even if somehow a Wormhole could be created, it would be unstable and probably just fly apart. There's no possible way anyone could pass through one in theory since once you're sucked into a Black Hole past the Event Horizon and into the Singularity, you no longer exist (And you can't really pop out on the other side if you don't exist). And your 'essence' or whatever would be stuck inside the region known as the Schwarzschild bubble...which also has some interesting thought behind it. Would that make you a diety? =3
That's all based on the pre-empts that you understand the dynamics of black holes and physics. If you want, I'd be happy to C&P my explanation of the black hole. =3

Thank you for your brief explanation on them, however, I'm wanting to discuss all forms of anomalies both fiction and not (those that theoretically can, cannot, or do exist) The first question I had was what would happen at the edge "relative side" of a wormhole or portal. (assuming that it were stable) Not exactly what would happen inside. I'm just curious what would happen at the edge/ boundary because all theories do agree that they have an outer boundary

If someone wants to discuss a different fictional or non-fictional anomaly I am all ears but for right now I'm curious what other people think about or know about wormholes/portals...specifically I am curious about what would happen at the edge/ outer boundary of one
