France, a country that, when the Iraq war started, bore the brunt of quite a few taunts from the U.S... And Kiddo, we got a tax cut too. I wasn't talking about tax cuts for people that need them. I like that. What I don't like is huge tax cuts for the rich. So you prefer a Robin Hood style of government? Rob from the rich to give to the poor? When my dad had a large income he recieved a raise and made less than he did before the raise. Why? It knocked him into a higher tax bracket. Ah, forget it. I'm not arguing this today. I don't need some idiotic debate to remind me of how f-ed up my life is.

Oh, and I agree, I don't expect this to before Wednesday morning. Don't you remember both sides have lawyers ready in case of things happening?
And voter fraud has all ready been happening (I don't understand this weeklong voting thing counties have been doing either)...but for instance there was a county in Ohio (was it?) that had more votes there then there are adults that even live in that county!
Bus loads of people being dropped off at the polling places to vote for the candidate they're told to in exchange for money, and in some cases crack.
It's insane and sick. No way is it going to be over. If anything, it will be worse than 2000. I have a very good feeling if Bush wins again, Kerry and Edwards will attack though I hope they have the decency to not do so...
If Bush loses, I hope he has the decency to not do it either, but who knows.
But still, if it comes down to Kerry winning, well, there's a reason for it. Being the Christian I am, I believe in the Bible, which states all people are put into power and removed from power by God, Himself. So if Kerry wins, yeah. I'll support Kerry and his decisions as much as possible until the conflict with what I believe in. I may make statements on here if a subject were to come up, but not like publically and protest and stuff like that.
As I've said millions of times before, this country needs to be united in these issues, and showing this division has only helped the terrorists.

The Kerry campaign called it a smear and said his words were "edited" out of context. The ad does indeed fail to mention that Kerry was quoting stories he had heard from others at an anti-war event in Detroit, and not claiming first-hand knowledge. But Kerry passed them on as true stories. Here's his entire speech... Kerry Senate Testimony (1971): I would like to talk, representing all those veterans, and say that several months ago in Detroit, we had an investigation at which over 150 honorably discharged and many very highly decorated veterans testified to war crimes committed in Southeast Asia, not isolated incidents but crimes committed on a day-to-day basis with the full awareness of officers at all levels of command.
It is impossible to describe to you exactly what did happen in Detroit, the emotions in the room, the feelings of the men who were reliving their experiences in Vietnam, but they did. They relived the absolute horror of what this country, in a sense, made them do.
They told the stories at times they had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, tape wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the country side of South Vietnam in addition to the normal ravage of war, and the normal and very particular ravaging which is done by the applied bombing power of this country. You can see the words which are used in the campaign, and, as you see, he didn't claim to do it but said he heard cases of it. Ah, but here's the thing, I actually heard recordings from taken from the Seventies where he said he did. I'm not talking about the ads people put out, I never trust those. I'm talking about words from Kerry's own mouth at the time these statements were made. So he's lying if he says he never claimed to have taken part in these himself...

Okay, I'm good. Sorry about that bout of irritableness there Tahu.
On a sidenote, I saw a huge ad at the top of one the threads here advertising "100 undisbutable facts about the Bush administration." I laughed.

I've been noticing the liberally-biased banners there, too... Like we say in NC... "Conservatives have the biggest presence here, but the liberals still have the loudest mouths... "

Hehe. I'm just happy that Kerry had to give up on Missouri as it was consistently Pro-Bush.
The only state that worries me is Ohio. *looks at Kiddo* What's with your fellow Ohio-ans? Seriously. XP

Bush.
I'm too tired to explain myself, but the others here are doing a pretty good job at doing it for me. I'll hop in later when I have more brain-power. ;D

Gotta wonder what our 43rd Pres would look like in skimpy footwear. ;D *dodges tomatoes*[/glow]

So many things have been said that I disagree with that I'm not going to even attempt to argue with them. All I have to say is I fear for our country. I really, really do. No matter who gets elected, half of the country's going to be overjoyed, and the other half will be POed. I think I can make a safe bet that most Republicans and Democrats tomorrow couldn't care less about the future of our country, as long as their candidate gets elected. There's been so much backstabbing and hate on both sides of the issue. Most commercials don't say, "This is why you should elect me." No, it's always "This is why you should NOT elect the other guy, because they're bad and did all this evil stuff and now I'm going to make up a bunch of lies to make them look bad!" I don't know the whole truth about either Bush or Kerry, because the candidates and their little media buddies have distorted it so many times. If I studied, I could and would gladly learn that truth, but I don't have the time. But come on, most Americans won't do that, they'll just follow what the media tells them. Frauds and scandals abound. This isn't a real election, it's a mud-slinging party. The previous election took place when I was in fourth grade, so I wasn't paying too much attention to it. Are they *always* this bad? I hope not. So that's why I'm scared. Because both main parties seem concerned that if the opposing candidate wins, the world is going to blow up some way or another. America is divided in hatred right now... bitter hatred. Seriously, people are getting so angry at people because of their differing political views. Whatever happens tomorrow night, there are going to be some angry, unforgiving people. Maybe I can move to Canada
