Dating and relationships are a hassle. Kids might not think so, but it's really best to avoid all that mess as long as you can. Some social interaction is needed, though. I was so socially inept, I didn't really interact with the opposite sex very much. I was and still continue to be years behind my peers when it comes to dealing with that sort of thing. When trying to interact with guys romantically, I'm at a total loss. To a certain extent I wish that I *had* gotten some experience way back when.

Some people just have a really high sex drive from a young age. OK, some people who really don't need it feel a pressure to grow up faster and go on dates, and it does sadden me. But, equally, other people really like to date and experiment etc etc. Bodies mature around puberty and all our little hormones are urging us to go out and do stuff. I think it's fine for people to date at this age, but it varies from individual to individual.
