[glow=red,2,300]Bad? OK? Deserves to be thrown into the pits of Mt. Doom?
I'll wait for a few people to post before I express my views.[/glow]

To a certain extent it's ok, and that length changes depending on what's being commercialized.
For Neopets, specifically, I'd say less is more. It spreads quite nicely by word of mouth, and doesn't NEED to be commercialized (advertised). Then again, to another extent, some people like Neopets in the rest of their life, so it's nice to have plushies and materials to sell.
Products should be commercialized to a much greater extent, for obvious reasons. Period. I mean, it could be a lot better, and the commercials could make sense more, and it'd be nice not to interrupt TV shows so much that they have to cut them for commercial time. But it's ok.
Commercialization for services get to be a real bore sometimes, and could stand to be lessened.
TVshow advertising/commercializing could be done better on some channels (YTV specifically for Canadians), and we really don't need to hear about the new action figures for the show twice in a row in a single commercial slot. It does bring in viewers, and each show should get it's fair share if it's popular enough.
But on the whole, it gets really old, boring, and repetitive, really fast. Again, less is more in general acutally, but a little bit is ok in my book.
