I've been procrastinating schoolwork and going to random sites... and one had blande jokes on the. I'm just wondering- are people offended by them? I have blonde hair... but for some reason they don't bother me that much... but if it were something like an official minority type of groups I would be... Hmm weird... what does everyone else think about blonde jokes?
Also, some racial or sexist jokes offend me though.

I don't mind blonde jokes. But then, I'm not blonde. I also don't mind jokes about race or gender or religion, as long as it isn't mean-spirited.

Some blonde jokes are funny, but most could be just as much so if hair color and stereotypes were left out. It's not that I'm "offended", persay, it's just that I think it's all a lot of unnecessary meanness. And as far as stereotypes go, it's one of the least true of all of them. Most of the preps at my school are brunette and I've known a number or brilliant blondes. So the whole hair color aspect doesn't even add to the joke in a "heh, that's mean, but true!" sort of way.

I don't find blond jokes offensive, nor do I find black jokes offensive. I just don't let them get to me. Theres some truth in a few of them, and at the end of the day, if you let little things like that 'make you sick' you're gonna be sick for the majority of your life. Some times you have to just be above things. *shrugs*

Here's my theory (and my way of getting out of trouble for blonde jokes):
Blonde is a hair colour. Blonde is also a state of mind. Only blonde-haired people can be blonde-minded (although others can have "blonde moments") Not all blonde-haired people are blonde-minded.

No offense, but I think they're funny. I already know not all blondes are stupid (There's SO many blondes at my school and they're really smart.)

What ever gave you THAT idea? Exhibit A: Rae Gargione, Brunette Wears nothing but Abercrombie and Fitch Says "like" every other word Has had too many classic "blonde moments" to list, but my personal favorite is when she asked of a model island "Is that real?" I rest my case. I also resent the "Not all blonde-haired people are stupid" thing. It makes it sound as though the ones who aren't are an exception to the rule.

Blond jokes don't bother me. There's some pretty funny ones out there and they're better than incessant dirty jokes. *cough*can't imagine where I'd hear those - COLLEGE*cough*
My personal theory as to why blondes get made fun of is, well, for some reason blond is a sign of beauty. I don't understand it but apparently some girls think to be attractive they have to be blond. Soooo, they go out and bleach their hair and dye it blond and get a tan and then act like total idiots. Next thing ya know it, we got blond jokes.
And I leave you with this:
What's black and blue and red all over?
A redhead who told too many blond jokes.
Oh. When do you use blonde and when do you use blond? *has no clue*

Oh. When do you use blonde and when do you use blond? *has no clue* According to some people, "blond" is male and "blonde" is female (like fiance/fiancee). However, according to the dictionaries I checked, they're interchangeable. I think the gender bit is more or less nonsense, particularly since the word has been in English for a while.

Wears nothing but Abercrombie and Fitch Yes. Because your hair colour doesn't affect you IQ, but where you shop does. 'Oh look. She's wearing black. Lets go tell her how much she has to live for and frisk her for drugs.'

*shrug* I just use the world blonde, the other spelling is weird to me. Same here. My school newspaper debated whether (sp?) or not to put "Blonde Jokes" in the newspaper. We decided on using my friend Josh's idea, and if we are bent on using Blonde Jokes, use some rediculous hair color. Our school won't let anybody dye their hair a weird color and come to school (for some odd reason), so we decided on "blue haired people jokes" or something like that. Don't ask. As for Blonde Jokes, they don't offend me much. Just some. Other jokes, like racist or anything else (against political and gender matters), offend me. I despise stuff like that.
