I would like very much for there to be some way for Polygamy to work out, if only for the sake of tolerance. Unfortunately, I can't think of a way that could be done without creating chaos. In order for it to really be fair, it would have to break the traditions of the religions it originated from and be able to go both ways - multiple husbands for women, too. But I think you can see how quickly this would get complicated - soo we'd have men with multiple wives with multiple husbands with multiple wives. Pretty soon, marriage would be nothing more than legalized promiscuity, and as much as I despise the "sanctity of marriage" argument in most cases, that's just plain not cool.
