Well, I figured we needed a thread for political debates, so here it is!
I really don't want to make up some new reasons that I dislike bush, so here is my one from the Anti-americanism board.
I don't like Bush for many reasons. The prime one is that I disagree with nearly every single one of his political views. There must be some obscure political issue that I agree with him on, but I don't know what it is. Now, I also don't particullarly like Kerry. I think that of all the candidates, Nader is the best choice. However, not enough people think that to get him elected. The second reason I don't like Bush is because he's dim. I think all that needs to be said on this subject has, so I'm not going to elaborate. The third reason that I don't like him is because he is a liar. He lied about our reasons for going to war, he lied about the WMD's (as of this moment, the only WMD's Saddam ever had were the ones that we gave him) and many other lies.
These are the three main reasons that I dislike Bush. Now, I don't exactly have an unbiased standpoint. I will cite my three favorite Books as Stupid White Men, Dude, Wheres my Country? and Lies, and the Lying Liars who tell them. While these books are all very partisan, enough of them is true to make you wish Bush had never even run for office. I will finish off this post with a quote from our President in 1989:
"You know I could run for governor but I'm basically a media creation. I've never done anything. I've worked for my dad. I worked in the oil business. But that's not the kind of profile you have to have to get elected to public office. "

Given the fact that Bush and Kerry are complete morons, and well... I feel a little concerned for Nader's mental health, I really don't give a hoot anymore.
We can yell, cry, and beg for any one of them to listen to us, but it will be the same thing: they just can't.
I can say that my decision will be my decision, when the time comes. It's just a shame that I am forced to choose the lesser of two, or three evils on the first presidential election I can legally vote.

I'll choose bush. Neither Kerry or him are smart, but if Kerry is elected, then he'll pull our troops out of Iraq, and when Iraq falls, then it's going to be the start of World War 3. I personally would perfer another 500, 1000 people die trying to fix a poverty striken country than having to worry about losing my life every second of the day.

Despite my dislike of Kerry, you can't really tell what he's going to do in Iraq. He's said, at times, he'll increase our presence there. At other times he's said he will bring our troops home. But I think, for the most part, he's smart enough to not just pull troops out like that. Just a little thing I felt like saying...

All i can say is that if I was old enough and registered I'd be going for Kerry. Many may consider him the lesser of two evils but consider this...
Everyone knows that Bush did not win the last election first of all. Gore won the popular vote but that @%$ Electorial College decided that the people weren't smart enough to select our own commander in chief and gave us the reject. Also Bush has practically NO experience with politics. The only reason he became govenor of Flo. is because he rode on the shirtale of his daddy.
Also the man has the verbal capacity of a toddler! That's why we elaborate on all of his Bush-isms. He can't even write his own speeches. I dont' think I'd want someone who can't speak his own thoughts.
Also I'm disgusted at how Bush is trashing women's reproductive rights. I'm considering to study to become a gynecologist so this is extremely important to me.
To keep this short Kerry:
~Supports women's reproductive rights ~Have had years of experience in plolitics ~and can speak for himself...

I'm glad I'm under 18............. Kerry is a liar and deserter (yeah, he wounded himself so's he could go home from Vietnam) Bush is an idiot who, it's true, can't speak his own mind. But I agree with Bush on some points. So does Bush, actually. He just doesn't support abortion, which I believe to be different than women's reproductive rights. Oh, and btw, I know somebody posted this on another thread but it's so funny I thought I put it here. atomfilms.shockwave.com/contentPlay/shockwave.jsp?id=this_land&(Wait for the ads to pass : )

I'm glad I'm under 18............. Kerry is a liar and deserter (yeah, he wounded himself so's he could go home from Vietnam) There's no proof to that. And the Swift Boat Veterans For Turth in fact aren't telling the truth. They are funded by Republicans (who is Kerry running against? A Republican.) and soldiers who were not even close to Kerry during the incidents in which he received his awards. Bush is an idiot who, it's true, can't speak his own mind. No, Bush is an idiot with far right-wing policies and religious opinions. So does Bush, actually. He just doesn't support abortion, which I believe to be different than women's reproductive rights. "Just" doesn't support abortion? That is definitely not different than women's reproductive rights. Abortions directly deal with those rights (i.e. whether or not a woman actually births a baby). How are they different?

The worst part of this election is that George Bush could actually win without cheating this time .

... Excuse me? Explain to me how he cheated last time. Simple, SLE. His brother hid extra ballots and fixed the election so he would win. People just can't get over the fact that Gore lost. The dimpled chad thing is, for the most part, a load of crap. EDIT -- I would also like to point out in many states it was discovered severe cheating on the Democrats part. Especially here in Missouri. Bums were picked up off the street and voted in a few places for Gore in exchange for stuff. Other people were able to vote more than once by taking the identity of dead people, etc. And let's not forget that THIS year, there were (I forget how many, I think Thousands) of democrats who didn't live in Florida make sure they were registered to vote iN Florida despite the fact this was illegal. Thanfully the election commitee noticed this and put a stop to it. So, who's cheating?
