This is an art/roleplaying activity that takes after the new animated show Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. Never seen the show? Well here's a review brought to you by AnimatedBliss.com.
Wanna know more about the show? Then check out the Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends Official Web Site.
Now on to the good stuff...
Step one: Creating and receiving your own Imaginary Friend
In this activity you are placed into teams of two and create an imaginary friend for your partner as if he/she were a figment of your imagination; the sky's the limit. You can even create "Extreamosaurses," which are big, bad, scary monster like imaginary friends that were created by jerky, mean teenaged boys and girls. Once that character is created, complete with name, personality and character design you are to give the character you've created to your partner; which now becomes their own Foster's Home for Imaginary Friend based character. You can role play this character with other imaginary friends or just draw pictures of it.
THE ONE RULE
Once you've joined this activity you agree to give up all ownership of the character that you create; this character will now belong to your partner.
Also, the character you create does not have to be in the same style of animation that the show is based on (EXAMPLE) but it can be pretty close.
Step Two: Entering the world of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
Once we have a number of imaginary friends there will be a separate main role playing thread for all of the house announcements. This is where you can introduce yourself (in character) and find quick links to any mini-role plays that may be going on. We may need some house Mods for this part, but it’s still in the works though.
If you have any ideas or suggestions please let me know!
So, do we have any takers? If you're interested just reply to this post and once we get enough people I'll pair you all up! Also, if you have joined this same activity that I created on DA you can also join this one and create a brand new character. ^^

When Mac, a shy 8-year-old boy, is forced to give up his Imaginary Friend, Bloo, he finds the perfect place for him: Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. There, they meet many of the home's residents, like Eduardo, Wilt and Coco; as well as the home's staff. Their problems appear to be solved until it is revealed that Foster's is an adoption center, and, if Mac isn't there at the time someone tries, they could adopt Bloo.
To make matters worse, a sinister plot by an evil Imaginary Friend uses Mac's 13-year-old bully brother, Terrence, and puts Bloo in peril. Now Mac and his new friends from Foster's must work together to save Mac's best buddy Bloo.
b: 13-Aug-2004 w: Craig McCracken d: Craig McCracken
NOTE: Eduardo speaks English and Spanish.
Coco lays eggs with prizes inside of them.
Pilot episode.
Mojo Jojo from the powerpuff girls makes a cameo in this episode.
You can see a Nintendo Game Boy Advance next to Mac's TV at one point.
The only pilot episode on the Cartoon Network to be repeated three times on each day of the weekend. (Two times on the Fridays block, one time on Saturday's Cartoon Theatre and on Sunday's Cartoon Theatre.)
This is most likely the longest pilot episode for an animated series in the history of TV. (Not counting the ATHF episode, "Rabbot". We're talking children's programming here.) The series holding the title of having shortest pilot episode in the history of TV is currently the Antefilm five-minute short film "Garage Kids", which in time transformed into the smash-hit Euro/3D mixed TV show in both France and America, "Code: Lyoko".
Did you notice the obvious Pac-Man reference in the Junk Yard when Bloo is being chased by the black sphere monster?
I.F debute: All the friends: Bloo, Wilt, Eduardo, Coco, Mr.Herriman, and Duchess Person debut: Mac, Terrence, Frankie, Madame Foster, and Mom
Running gag: The friends are running in the house to save Bloo from adoption in Scooby-Doo style
All episodes air every Friday at 7PM (ep) with an encore presentation at 10:30PM (ep)

Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends is a rambling Victorian mansion that serves as a haven for imaginary friends who are no longer wanted or needed by their former owners. The eccentric Madame Foster is the matriarch of the home, and she shows her unyielding love of all imaginary friends by housing, feeding and providing emotional support to them while helping to match them with new kids.
One day, a smart, creative boy named Mac is told by his mom that he's too old to keep his imaginary friend, Bloo, any longer. Mac is not ready to part with Bloo, so he takes his imaginary friend to Madame Foster and strikes a deal. As long as Mac will visit every day, the staff of Madame Foster's promises not to let Bloo be adopted by anyone else. Mac soon becomes a favorite at Madame Foster's – all of the other imaginary friends take a liking to him and he's "adopted" as a surrogate kid for each of them.
Madame Foster's has attracted a motley crew of imaginary friends. Wilt was originally created as a playmate for a basketball-loving boy, but when his family moved, he was forced to fend for himself. Though he lost an eye and an arm, Wilt retains his positive, can-do attitude. Eduardo looks tough on the outside, with a stocky, muscular frame, fangs, horns and a pointy tail. But he's really kind of jittery. Almost anything – car alarms, falling leaves and especially children – can scare this imposing fellow. Coco was salvation for a little girl stranded on a desert island, but all that solitude does things to a creature. Coco is always teetering on the edge of sanity.
Helping run the home is Mr. Herriman, who was Madame Foster's imaginary friend when she was young. Mr. Herriman is a remnant of a bygone era: he's proper, well mannered and expresses very little emotion. Managing the daily operations of the house with an iron fist – or, rather, an iron paw – Mr. Herriman is a giant bunny who wears a bowtie, spats, top hat and monocle. Frankie, Madame Foster's 22-year-old granddaughter, makes sure that Madame Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends stays on track. She cooks, cleans and handles the never-ending crises (and occasional adoptions). Dealing with a house full of rambunctious imaginary friends is a lot of hard work and not always a lot of fun. But if Frankie can help a kid get what her parents would not allow her to have, then she's darn well going to do it.
