It's an idea I've been toying with for a while: kind of an award, like the Oscars, only I had intended it to be for forum art. It's also a tribute to the fact that I can't draw humans for the life of me... hehe. It's endlessly modifiable, since the base can be resized to any end to fit all kinds of names and fonts, and you just pixel-write the name of the category on the head. Enough stalling. Here's my cheesy, simplistic drawing of the Golden Stickman:

We should probably set up categories and nominees before we undergo any sort of completeing/voting...

I just did something like this with my first review ... >.> See? The golden cookie award. It goes to whoever impressed me the most with their comic for each issue I do a review.

No, categories like the best Flash movie, best art, best piece of writing; you'd enter your work and a poll would be started. Etcetera. If wanted, I could get silver and bronze Stickmen, too. The poll is essential to it, but if there was a tie, people would vote on which of the tied pieces they liked best; you can only enter one item in any category, but there can be a maximum of three (or maybe more, not sure yet) entries per person. If there are simply TONS of entries in a category there might be more than one winner of each trophy category. The basic design makes this a great award simply because it's so modifiable. you can change its color, the size of the base, the categories, the font for the name plaque... etc. That's as far as I've gotten on this.

Yep. Oh, here's the assembly screen, thought you oughta see this. The stuff at the bottom is the base stuff for the pixel-letter name that goes on the head of the award. Note: the bar below my name is the measuring tool for the head. It actually is the width of the head, minus two pixels. The blue box is where those titles are assembled. Here's some hard data. The numbers are from the edit color screen. Stickman & Nameplate Gold: Hue: 32 Sat: 214 Lum: 144 Diamond Letter White: Hue: 160 Sat: 0 Lum: 233 Jade Category Green: (for full category listing: D.L. White is for category in general) Hue: 100 Sat: 240 Lum: 181 Bronze Stickman Brown: Hue: 24 Sat: 234 Lum:106 Name Font: Lucida Console Category Font: Poor Richard All other colors are default colors.
