I thought this could be an interesting thread. ^_^ A lot of NTWFers make up characters for their non neopets stories, webcomics, roleplaying or whatever. Well I thought it might be interesting to hear about them, like post a picture of them ,what work of yours they are from, and a little bit about them. I'd start off but I don't have any characters.

You know, I am very, VERY tempted to absolutely FLOOD this board...
Better not to say anything. If I get started on the subject of characters I've never been able to put onto paper, I won't stop until someone shoots me dead.

I'll throw out a couple. Got a TON of characters from Fae Wars... There's Darrier who is an incredibly arrogant rude not-nice person and just happens to be one of the main protaganists. Sarcastic, cynical, carries a cool spear and has partial control over reality as a Gate Guardian. He solves problems through violence. Nice guy, really. No sense of tact whatsoever. ("Hush you. I’m only mildly inept, not completely incompetent.") Then Tiriyvus who rivals Darrier for arrogance, etc. He's the antagonist and quite frankly scares me. Captain of the Royal Mage Guard of Tria. Hates the Gate Guardians and would love to see them both ruined. (‘I guessed as much. As selfless as ever, Captain.’) Mat who is the girl in that piccy. She's 14 physically, but is actually over 200 years old. She's a Gate Guardian like Darrier and cause of that they're both immortal. Mat's really sweet altough you don't want to go up against her cause she'll run rings around ya in the politics scene. A bit more subtle than Darrier. (“Ceras. You are an evil evil woman.”) Unicorn Queen who is still fully human... no fae blood yet. *sigh* Someday I'll get there. Leaf Technically that picture isn't of him, but it was the inspiration for it and Bongo didn't mind me using her idea. He worships a god that forbids violence and serves a really interesting role in the story... I finally had to get him out somehow cause he was playing too important a role. (“I’ve heard of you. You can dissolve into birds.”) Tre'mi - a poor fifteen year old kid thrown into the middle of a war that she might be able to stop. She's fae, has double wings (four altogether) and is generally cool. We've got a handful of mewks namely Ni-rika and Kadrin-ra. Ni-rika is a fae helping Kadrin-ra launch a revolution in return for aid in the war on the side of the fae. I think that's all the ones Bongo has done pictures of... she's better at drawing my characters than I am. Way better. But there's gobs more. Like Ladrigail, a shapeshifter who lost his family when Tria destroyed the city of Antiel. Vyceros, a sniper from the world Teros. (“Throws a rather large snag in things, doesn’t it?”) Nienva, sister to a Tria exile and a Royal Mage Guard herself. Kocerou, a *insert rude word here* traitor. I don't even like him. Nukah, mountain prince of the fae (“Certainly not because you are going to throw yourself at my feet and declare your everlasting adoration.”) Mivivi, a scary little pixy fae with swords who serves Nukah (“Are all female fae insane?”) Carnesir, David, Duane, Eretine, Shlee/Kuji, Cpuris, Ithis, Rithes, Tess, Don, Jeremy, Esish, Kip, Azzandra, Pohyoul, Trevor, Gabriel, and a handful of extras. Oh yeah, if you feel like digging about, I've got pictures of random Fae Wars characters in my DA account, as does Mera and Crystal and a couple others...

I have a few, but not many pictures. Dzaran, actually based off one of my Neopets stories (Someday... I might actually get it into the NT!) but I switched him human because he is HAWT. Professional assassin working for the Dark, and takes his orders directly from the Shadow Usul. In Neopet form he's a fairly normal pet, in human he has black hair tied back in a ponytail, emotionless grey eyes and a tall, wiry build. Emotions: none whatsoever, except for sometimes anger. Feline. Also known as Drewan. Mercenary and avowed bacholerette. Currently in her late twenties. Lives with Coleni - and I haven't written anything on the story for ages... so sue me... Coleni. Real name is... oh dung, I forgot her real name. How pathetic is that? Seventeen going on to eighteen, sidekick and pupil of Feline. Shapeshifter.

Same here... best not get me started on all the half-baked characters I've made up You see, the problem is that mine our fully baked, I've just never gotten their stories down. I could writer ESSAYS on their psyches and histories, and I WOULD if given half the chance and a few people foolish interested enough to read them.

Oooo, I gots a lot of characters... I suppose I'll start with my avatar character, Growly. She's a red wolf and basically represents me, except... furry. She likes to draw and has a bizarre obsession with moose, and is fairly hyper and weird. She also has a couple of other, more serious forms, including non-anthro, dragon, and male.Another of my characters is Scuzzy, the fuzzy blue Thyarrian demon. He's from an alternate dimension, on a planet called Thyarr. He arrived on Earth via mysterious circumstances, and befriended a human girl named Krystal (no pic of her yet ). Scuzzy, having been beat up and picked on back home for being so small and weak and introverted, is very empathetic and likes to help people solve their problems. He's also deathly afraid of cats, for some odd reason. Some of my weirdest characters are the Green Martian Moose. There are a whole bunch of them, and they all look identical. The GMM can't talk, but instead use a series of high-pitched squeaks and squeals to communicate. The Moose have become somewhat a personal mascot for me... I even named my Neopets account after them! Another of my characters is Makita, the lynx/ hawk gryphon. She lives high up in the mountains with the rest of her colony, and is prone to mischief. She likes playing jokes on people, though never anything harmful. Even though she's very playful, she also works hard when she needs to, and is fiercely loyal to her colony.

[glow=red,2,300]*pounds her head on the wall and wishes she could draw* I have such beautiful pictures of my non-Neo characters in my head. Why can't I get them on paper? Why have I been cursed with a lack of drawing talent? WHY? [/glow]

www.deviantart.com/view/7850927/Yeah, the girl in the Kimono is Ice, I'll probably put her in a story one day (heh) the girl sitting on the ground is the ACTUAL me (nothing to do with anything) and the cat-girl is Night Fire, personality for FF.Net and is already featured in a story torturing innocent anime characters with her insane prescence. *Cough* I myself, though I have not created that many characters, gone overboard, just don't ask me about my new Gaia (sp?) personality ToraMetsuki...

Eh...i'll throw some out... I should have some pictures before too terribly long...
Gyuun Kital - A great swordsman from Dahred City. He's the unofficial leader of the heroes fighting against Hyperia.
Digahn Iygn - A rabid fan of seafood. He'll go to rivers and lakes and fish with his spear. Also usually pretty wired... He doesn't like to fight, but if he's backed into a corner, he won't hold back.
Judgement Bob - The greatest swordfighter ever to live. He is known for his ability to use his sword in a technique called "Judgement Day". Has long, silver, hair and a very dark complexion.
Colonel Saunders - The result of watching too many KFC commercials... Is renowned for his physical attacks such as "Chicken Wing Special" which, despite its humorous name, is incredibly powerful. Colonel of the Maeuun Military.
RYZ-3904 "SIGMA" - A machine built by Maeuun, the world's most powerful army. It has developed its own thought patterns and has vowed to destroy all living things, as it views them as inferior. Has god-like strength, defense, and accuracy, but horrifically low speed.
These are all from The Legend of Hyperia. If anyone thought those were interesting, i'll probably post s'more.

Ooooh, mine look to terrible to post, but everyone else's look MAGNIFICENT! Truly, they're amazing! I suppose I could toss a few characters out of some stories I write/working on writing... I only have about sixty billion stories. Okay, more like twenty... Let's see...
From Scaly Dragon Flowers I have Tsubomiryuu. She's a woman-dragon (half dragon, half human) who tricks a guy into being her slave... Sorta. She saves his life, and that makes him indebted to her. Poor guy. She's heartless and cruel, he's mild and witty at the same time. He's also nameless at the moment.
From Brigand I have Madame Elf, one of my favorties. Her name is somethin like twenty letters long and I don't have it memorized... They call her Madam anyway. She's French, she's snotty, she's against commoners... But she's traveling with them anyway.
From Brigand I also have Morgance Peter Irvin James Arthur William Samuel Edward Richard Destan. Um... Her parents really would have prefered a boy. Anyway, she's crazy, chipper, calm, and cool (lotta C's), and has magical ribbons that she uses to tie people up and shtuff. She also owns a Sizeling named Orva-Zillah, and it only obeys her. Morgance is also kinda clueless. ^_^''
From Brigand I also have Ruana, a half-dog who is very sweet and kind but drives everyone insane by referring to herself in third person. ("Is there room for Ruana?") Her power is music, and she can hurt eardrums by her singing or send enemies to sleep by playing her harp or violin.
From Oken I have Ned (Neddih) and Trepxe. Ned is bitten by a cat-thing (long explanation, just go with that) and turns into a half-cat. Trepxe is a researcher/expert on the creatures and tries to cure him. However, she's got a temper problem and doesn't recognize people's emotions... He's kinda laid back and tries to force Trepxe into having fun on more than one occasion. Oh yeah, Trepxe's sister Lia (Liaceps) can talk to the cat-thingy-mahooseys in Mew-Mew language.
*riffles through files* Maybe I have one of the cats on here... Or at least Madam Elf... But do I really want to abase myself into showing them? (Congrats, you now have four outta twenty-six stories)

[glow=red,2,300]Eh, since everyone else is throwing out descriptions, I will too.[/glow]
Kira- A girl from a small town in the middle of nowhere, South Dakota, USA. Karate master, Asian beauty, always wears her hair in a long braid down her back and tied with a ponytail holder attached to a blood-red stone. Has a kick-butt, idealistic attitude. Transported to a mythical kingdom.
Jason- (Still working on the name.) Tall, blonde, not bad-looking but not totally cute either. Sort of a geeky look about him. Absolutely no muscle on him. Kira's best friend. A bit of a rogue, a troublemaker, a theif. He's sneaky about the little things (like whether or not he actually did his homework) but honest about the big ones (like that term paper, and whether or not he actually caused that rockslide that nearly totaled the village.) Gets transported with Kira.
George- Kira and Jason's arch-foe. Sandy-brown hair, blue eyes, a rat-like nose and a way of walking that makes him look like he has cinder blocks on his feet. Purely scientific-minded, he thinks that Kira and Jason are lost in their own world, and he has no problem with letting them know how foolish and impractical they are. Gets transported with them, and they have to work together to get back to their own time and place.
Annalise- A homely, freckled, frizzy-haired girl from the kingdom of (insert kingdom name here, 'cause I haven't figured it out yet.) Kindly and mild-mannered, completely unable to stand up for herself, and generally kicked around and abused.
Princess Sari- An incompetant teenaged princess who's training to lead the kingdom. Tall, fair-skinned, blonde, and with an attitude like sour grapes. ("What? You know I can't do it, I know I can't do it, end of conversation. Now get off my back about it, wretch!") Jason is smitten with her. (He has no chance.)
King Beneterr- (Yes, named after the Eyrie in Grey Despair.) A sandy-haired, muscular man in his mid-40's. Keeps trying to make the right descision, and screwing up.
General Johann- A muscular, dark-skinned man with a shaven head. Leader of King Beneterr's armies. Has a sword that kicks boo-tay and a sharp, strategic mind. George comes to like him.
Lord (still figuring out the name. Was going to name him 'Maloporg' but I figured that'd be pushing it.)- An evil mage warlord who wants to take over the kingdom (still working on a motive) He's devilishly handsome (In his 40's, but it looks like he's 25. Black moustache, shaven chin, glittering blue eyes, a devil-may-care smile, and a buff body) and a master of magic.
Lady Gathelianne- Sister of Lord what's-his-face, and a master of magic in her own right (though hers is more divination and less war magic. She tries to forewarn him of things, and 9 times out of 10 he ignores her. ("Now see, if we did it my way, that wretched king would have been headless by now!") Strikingly beautiful (raven-black hair that falls to her waist, eyes like black opals, thin and tall, a hawk-like nose, dainty hands, and wonderful fashion sense) and seductive. (Don't ask.)
[glow=red,2,300]Geez I ramble a lot...[/glow]
