SPOILERSMerpeople scared me, as well as the grindylows - hermiones joke to fleur also good "Fleur didnt get past ze grindylows." I thought she was doing a French accent! Her line was mostly lost in the noise of the situation, but I remember thinking, "Why did she just say 'ze'?" I LOVED the movie! Easily better than the rest. I went in with mild hopes (I'm not familiar with the director, and I was a tad miffed that Cuaron didn't stay on), but it completely blew me away. All of my complaints are slight and trivial; I never thought I could possibly be so pleased by an HP film! The first five minutes, though, were rushed to the point of a migraine. I wanted to see at least some of the Cup. I swear, half the audience must have chimed "...what?" in unison when it quickly cut to the tent scene. And why did Racliffe wear a Bulgaria hat? Meh, no matter, the film pwned PoA on nearly every level, and that's good enough for me. /SPOILERS

It makes sense, since not everyone from Hogwarts is gonna be from England. It was just so unique and beautiful to see an Asian girl with a Scottish accent. S P O I L E R O F D E A T H

SPOILERS FROM HP GOF MOVIE!!!
Smiley... Did you just say that PoA was BAD?!? That was the second best HP movie next to this one! I personally like all of the HP movies, but this one truly stands out as really good. Well, so did the third one. Why doesn't anyone outside of my family seem to like the third one? That one was really, really good!
But I suppose that's besides the point. The maze was totally different, but the movie made it better. What was changed was mostly fine, and there were some really funny moments. So overall, I loved this movie, a little bit more than I liked the last one. And the last one was really good too.

But when she was talking, I was like "What the hell did she just say?" which is what mostly bothered me. I also really wish Snape had been in the movie a bit more. Every scene he was in was awesome and even though he is the evilness, he still pwns. XD

About Cho...I didn't have a problem understanding her at all. And I thought her accent was sexy.

EDIT -- By the way, if you're going to discuss spoiler-ish events from the book/movie, people, remember your spoiler spaces.

Even though they missed out loads, I thought it was great.
S P O I L E R S - Possible
I thought it would have been nice if S.P.E.W was in it, and Ron, Hermione, Fleur and Krum had more lines, but I was totally freaked my the graveyard scene... Cedric dying has left me shaken...
Though good points, much better than the third, much funnier than the others and the Yule Ball was just great ^^
E N D S P O I L E R S
Gonna see it again next week with my Mum (noting I went with my Dad today =D)

I agree with Rider. Also, even though nobody but me and my friends witnessed this, one of my favorite parts was when my hyperactive not-at-all-boy-obsessed (very much like NSQ, actually) friend goes "oooh, he's pretty," in the first scene with Cedric in it. Then this lady I babysit for tells me that Cedric was cute when I mentioned the movie in church this morning. ....I agree, but STILL.

Ooh! I thought I'd been listening to Fleur too much! So Hermione DID say 'ze grindylows'. Aha! I'm NOT [as] mad [as I previously was]!

By the way, I checked IMDB last night. Order of the Phoenix is slated for 2007. It should be interesting to see how 19-20 year old Tom Felton can pull off playing 15 year old Draco Malfoy. XD I've always found it humorous how in the course of a few months between the movies, it's like "Yay! We've all growed up some more." I mean, sure, it's not something they can really help, considering production and filming, and all that stuff. But to think that in what's supposed to be a couple months they change so rapidly...it's just funny. ^_^ It's just going to keep getting interesting, though, the older they get. Radcliffe is 16 now, which means he might be able to pull off playing 15 year old Harry and actually LOOK 15... ...but by the time they get to HBP....XD and book 7... XD The only one who should be able to pull it off fairly well would be Emma Watson. Considering she's only 15 right now anyway. (I must admit, she does look older...)

I was talking to my grandmother about that. On average it's 2 years between movies. OotP 2007, HBP 2009, Seven 2011. 2011 - 1987 (when Felton was born) = 24, he'll be 24 going on 17 xD The adults have got it easy, of course. It'll be different to see other actors playing Harry, Ron, Hermione... Malfoy wasn't present as much in GoF.
