By the way, I checked IMDB last night. Order of the Phoenix is slated for 2007. It should be interesting to see how 19-20 year old Tom Felton can pull off playing 15 year old Draco Malfoy. XD I've always found it humorous how in the course of a few months between the movies, it's like "Yay! We've all growed up some more." I mean, sure, it's not something they can really help, considering production and filming, and all that stuff. But to think that in what's supposed to be a couple months they change so rapidly...it's just funny. ^_^ It's just going to keep getting interesting, though, the older they get. Radcliffe is 16 now, which means he might be able to pull off playing 15 year old Harry and actually LOOK 15... ...but by the time they get to HBP....XD and book 7... XD The only one who should be able to pull it off fairly well would be Emma Watson. Considering she's only 15 right now anyway. (I must admit, she does look older...) Malfoy wasn't present as much in GoF. SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS Yeah but the ferret scene was great! XD That and "I've killed Harry Potter!"

S P O I L E R
I watched it earlier tonight and thought it was awesome! I liked the funny lines that people said and a lot of it was quite light-hearted, which I really liked. I loved the scenes with Rita Skeeter. She played the part really well. Very annoying which is what she was meant to be. The broom cupboard was quite a lot larger than I imagined it to be o__0
I had a few tears when Cedric's dad found out that his son had died. Listening to those sobs was really quite upsetting, probably more because of the fact that he looked like such a cheerful fellow before.
I was a bit peeved that the Sphinx thing in the maze was left out but they can't add everything otherwise the film would be longer than all 3 of the LOTR's put together o_0
The hats that the Death Eater's wore looked like the ones the Klu Klux Klan wear but in black. I thought they looked quite funny.
I absolutely LOVED the scene were Mad Eye Moody turned Malfoy into a ferret! That was really cool.
Overall though, a great movie.
I give it a 9 and a half out of 10!

I was talking to my grandmother about that. On average it's 2 years between movies. OotP 2007, HBP 2009, Seven 2011. 2011 - 1987 (when Felton was born) = 24, he'll be 24 going on 17 xD The adults have got it easy, of course. It'll be different to see other actors playing Harry, Ron, Hermione... Malfoy wasn't present as much in GoF. Wrong. It's two movies in consecutive years, then skip a year. So SS was '01, CoS was '02, skip '03, PoA in '04, GoF in '05, skip '06, OotP in '07, HBP in '08, skip '09, Book 7 in '10...

Oh. ^_^; Well, GoF had probably the most CGI needed out of all of them: The Horntail, the Merpeople, the whole underwater scene, the maze, You-Know-Who...

I thought they didn't bring it out in '03 because they didn't want to compete with the last LOTR or something. Anyways, if they based film production on patterns... it'd be pretty stupid, basically. It'd be more logical to say that they skipped '03 because of LOTR or for some other reason, and they're skipping '06 because it's tough to make these longer, more complex movies in a year.

Well, OotP is expected to be released in June of '07, so it's not like they HAVE to release it late and compete with other movies. And production schedules are one of the main ways to keep people on track. Lucas had a 3 year schedule for all of his Star Wars movies. The year long break is one of those things that it's giving people some time off from rigorous shooting, and i believe it's also allowing for JKR to keep ahead with the books and writing. As far as I know, the film industry tries to keep on track with production schedules and patterns. *shrugs* But maybe it was competing with RotK...

SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS FROM GOF MOVIE
Okay, now that I think about it, maybe PoA movie WAS better... Why do you people hate that one so much...? But this one was still awesome, maybe this one was better... I dunno...
Oh yeah, and I think someone complained here about the sphynx being cut out. Let's face it, that wasn't the most exciting thing for Harry to face. Figuring out a riddle? The maze was made MUCH better in the movie, I thought.

S P O I L E R S Smiley... Did you just say that PoA was BAD?!? No! I'm just saying that this one's even better, which I didn't think was possible as far as book-movies go. I loved the third movie (earlier in my post I said that I was sad that Cuaron didn't stay on to direct subsequent Potter films); I just loved this one more. ^_~ I agree with Tracy about Cho, though. I loved her. She's so pretty and cute. Her accent shocked me a little at first, but I knew going into the film that she's Scottish, so it wasn't too odd. I'm almost sad that she got so little screentime... I was actually starting to like her character (as opposed to the books, where I hate her). S P O I L E R S

I'm going to see it next week Friday, the day my exams finish. :3 Alone, because my dad doesn't like HP. It's not that he's religiously prejudiced, it's just that it's not the kind of shows he watches. Oh well. At least I can cry without being embarassed. ....I was a bit worried at first about my country and their censor board, but it is rated U (there are only two ratings here - U for all ages and R for 18+. I still haven't hit 18, and I definitely don't LOOK like I've hit 18, so I tend to get kicked out of almost all the shows rated a strong PG-13 in the US) and ALL IS FORGIVEN.
