I posted this on Events and Suggestions a long time ago, and while everyone agreed it was a good idea, it never got off the ground. It was suggested that not a whole lot of people go to that board, and I need an ok from the Mods anyway.
I'm willing to run or co-run it (although I definitely can't do it alone and I'll need beaucoup d'aide). For my original plans, see the "Just a thought..." thread on the Events and Suggestions board.
I have a few ideas to start with, but do I have permission and any volunteers to participate in the game/help me run it?

Well, here's the basic idea:
I thought we'd pick twelve contestants and put them on two teams. The contestants should pick names, like the Neopets staff, and we could have a profile page where each contestant could put their "bio". Then each week we'd have a contest--stuff like figuring out the word puzzle as quickly as possible, or a writing challenge like NTAG used to have--they get three words and they have to write a paragraph, like the immunity challenges on "Survivor". I'm not sure how we'd do these. I guess each team could elect one member to do the immunity challenge, and we could do this over the Chat or something.
The team that loses the challenge would have to vote someone off their team. Either the person voted off would have to write a description/draw a comic of their demise, or I (or whoever the host is) would do it.
If you guys have any ideas, please share them! This'll be a lot of work but I think it would be a lot of fun in the end.

We have to make sure the people that want to do it, won't get thier feelings hurt, becuase they think someone is picking on them. They have to know it's a game. |
