Many of you already know about a few 'incidents' that have ocurred over the course of the past week or so involving 'anonymous' users. I'm not going to get into great detail concerning these posts, but they were in violation of both Proboards terms and conditions and our own rules of the forum. These posts were removed and the guilty party tracked down and dealt with. I am also sad to report that we had to end up banning someone from the forum.
I've spoken with the other mods on this and we feel that we have no choice but to block 'guest' users from posting in the future IF this occurs one more time.
We realize this will affect many users in the forum, but we will not tolerate this type of behavior from anyone. Unfortunately it only takes one person to ruin it for everyone and we're down to the last strike.

Yes, after talking with some of the others, I asked Pseudo to post this message for me.
The next time an incident happens where an anonymous person trashes others, we will disable anonymous posting. You will be able to READ the messages, but not reply. You will have to log in for that.
I really bothers me to have to consider things like this.

I haven't been on much since Stone created his forum so I obviously missed the whole incident.

In a nutshell, someone came on, anonymously, and ried to incite a war between NTWF and C'MoN. We put a quick end to that, tracked the person who apeared to be behind it, and told them to stop it. The following week, another anonymous poster attacked certain members of this Forum and bragged that we coulnd't find out who was behind it THIS time. So we locked out the source of the problems. That is all that needs to be said at this time. If you are reading this message, you don't have anything to worry about

I like both forums so I really don't want some stupid war.

Same here. "We don't need no stinkin' war." xD We be allies and stuffues . . . the two forums just work a little differently and have different colour and stuffues themes =) Which reminds me, I really should get to the C'MoN forum sometime . . . *cough* I haven't been there in a while, but I haven't here, either. Did you already block the guests, Miss Patjade? Now us users can't be lazy anymore D=

No, we haven't needed to do that yet, so you can still be lazy for the time being.
