Chomzloh, I really like the background you added to that pic! The colors set off the original image well, and the serene landscape really brings out the whole calm, peaceful feeling of the picture. Good luck! (Also, congratulations on getting in with your Bori pic!) I use clipping masks to recolor lineart, by making a new layer on top of the lineart layer and grouping it to the layer below. No idea if it's the best way, though.  That's really cute, Alyssa, I like how bright and colorful it is! Good luck with it in the future.  |

Wow. Long thread 0_o; Great entries, though. I stayed up too late in the morning making this one for Pteri Day (long way away, but still). Tried to give each of them a bit of personality, but hopefully there's enough detail to make it work. |

I like that snowy mountain range backdrop, and how you've posed each of the Pteris differently. The aviator goggles on the leader are a nice touch. xD Good luck with it! .....I would have laughed if this had gotten in for Jetsam Day, but it didn't. Hopefully it entertained someone anyway. |

That's just about the happiest Mutant Jetsam I've ever seen. (Doesn't hurt that I kind of consider Jetsams to have perma-grouchiness as their "Hat," as TVTropes would put it.)

There is nothing too grumpy to be changed into something adorable by putting a chibi face on it. It's only a matter of time before it happens to everything. I was a bit more surprised by the look on the statue's face, frankly. Hilarious xD Ha, thanks! The statue's face is my favorite part too. The beauty is that it's practically the same as the actual statue's face; I just added the anime sweatdrop and lines under the eyes. I suspect maybe this is the actual reason she always looks like that. |

Your use of black shadowing really gives it a dramatic effect, and her pose and expression give her a completely no-nonsense attitude of awesomeness. (And pff, I wasn't aware Hanso was even considered to be in the running. Sophie's totally the coolest. ) |
