Well, uh, yes. What the title says. Oh, and the "Thingy" is essential. Essential, I tell you!
It's just time to call it quits, I think. No, it doesn't have anything to do with Felicia's new rule. I reached 100 pieces on January 2, 2004. It's mid-September, and I have 115. What's the point in being a writer for the Times if it's in title and nothing more?
The Neopian Times and this forum have been such an emminent part of my life for the past... uh... many years. Yeah, I'll be fifteen in only a couple of weeks, and I started when I was twelve. Yikes.
I just want to say that it's been a blast. I know that I've developed so much in my writing, both comedic and not, because of Josh, Felicia and you guys. I may not have been able to prove my true depth as a writer to you all, but I know I'll have countless opportunities to elsewhere.
So... er... yes. This won't affect my forum participation the least bit, because I'd rather sever a limb than call it quits with you guys. Though, I must say, I'm just about done with Neopets, too.
Thanks again - a lot.
And here's mah buuud-ee Tracy, with her bit...

Well, I know it's probably not quite as big as TK retiring, but I feel my Neopian Times (perhaps even my Neopets) life is coming to a complete standstill. No longer do I wish to write comics or articles for the newspaper, but I feel more like developing new interests, and drawing random strips of my nameless semi-webcomic majigger. About 2 years have passed since my first submission ever, and... I'd just like to thank you all for making my time writing for it rock. I'd also like to thank those who supported me, nominated my works for anything, or any such stuff like that. I had immense support for A Little Place They Call Neopia, and possibly hundreds of amazing reviews.
I wont leave the forum, and I'll most certainly keep you up to date on my new pursuits. So once more, I thank you all. The Neopian Times has helped me in more ways than I think I even know myself, and brought me to the best community of people I've ever met online.
Kudos...

Both of you have produced excellent work but I understand your choice to stop writing for the NT. I'm glad you decided to stay on the forum though.

*hugs* Both of you will be greatly missed, but from what I read you're doing this for the right reasons and that I applaud.
Rest assured, you will be greatly missed. Things just won't be the same without the both of you.

I'm sad now. But I completely understand. Tracy, I loved your comics (although I don't think Sloth would say the same thing : . My favourite's were when sloth dressed up as faeries. And TK, I loved the GoldenRhino stories. That 'Aaaah, I can't read it! I knew I should've taken that reading class before the writing class' thing still makes me laugh today. Good luck, guys.

I'm sad to see you both quitting the Neopian Times. Still, like you said, two years is a long time and it's time to move on. Heck, we all have to move on sooner or later. I'll miss your stories and articles TK, and Tracy I would say the same about your comics, but I'd be lying. I never read comics. Anyway, I'm really glad that you will both be staying here at the forum. You're both great people, and yes TK, I mean that. I don't know what I'd do if you both left the net. Cry probably being the sensitive thing I am

Aw, I respect your decisions. But still, this is just so... sudden... I'll miss you guys a lot, and I'm sure that everyone else will. I'm glad you're staying in the forum, however.

Eternal optimist that I am, I will hope that the the muses eventually put an irristable neopian idea in your minds. Then you will be foreced to get it out, and we will get the treat of seeing something from you again.
Often people need a break from something. I will hope that a break from writing about neopets, or a break from neopets refreshes you. I have been a guite fan of both of your works at one time or another.
I am glad you will be around her at the forum, and I hope you will let us know where we can see some of your other work.
Best wishes.
