I made Neopets comics because I was bored one day. I didn't think much of it. Soon I had made 40 of the Cheesy things. Graphic design is just a hobby of mine. I wrote my college application essay on graphic design. I mentioned the comics. I found out to today that got into college. NEOPETS helped to get me into a fancy UC college. *happy dance* ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D (There's one more UC I'm waiting on... we'll see about that one soon!) Too bad it doesn't work that way for story and article writers. When you try to explain them, it's sort of like, "KIKO? A what?" "A Neopet." "What's that?" "Just keep reading." "A codestone? What's a codestone?" You get the picture. Congrat's! =) Or, you can always dwell on the false hope that by some off chance, that they have family on NeoPets, or are actually on NeoPets themselves. |
