I've been thinking of doing a comic for awhile now; it'd mostly be featuring my Desert Aisha, Li, and her Selket, Boojah, and be called "The Kimeriks." Considering my mediocre drawing ability and inability of making jokes, would anyone read the strip if I sent it to the Times (considering it even got in)?

I'd read it. The characters sound cool and seem to promise good storyline.

Thanks! I've got a couple ideas, so I'll make one sometime soon and post it up here for comments.

I read all comics that make it. You need to get all the laughs out of it you can, since it comes only once a week.

"Boojah" is actually the name of a petpet (an Anubis, if I remember correctly) in the Lost Desert plot clips. I pronounce it "booyah," and it's part of Li's Selket's full name--Leaf Boojah Booacynth. "Leaf" doesn't have the same sense of originality as "Boojah," though, so he goes by Boojah.
I'm not going for a "*hilarious chuckle*" sort of joke, but a "ha, that's cute/clever/not something you see every day" sort ofjoke.

I like those. They make me feel all warmy inside. That's really the kinda joke I have in my first comic. But this is about your comic so don't ask me about mine........OR ELSE!!
