I now officially suck at animation! ;D Go me! I spent all morning downloading Macromedia Flash MX and it is the[/b] single most hardest thing I have EVER done. The most I can do is make a little smiley face blink. How do you do it? It is hard! Hard a a Pet Rock covered in cement! And I've downloaded the free trail so I've only got 30 days to get real good, real fast or POW! And I couldn't make head or tail of the tutorial so don't ask  I'm making a little ... thingie right now. It's a smiley face going evil! Not very good though ... |

I made a flash! Maha! Ph33r my uber un-1337 smiley of d00m! It suxxors but aanyway ... And for some reason I can't submit it onto Photobucket or Deviantart ... but it's my private and secret then ... anyway, it would burn your eyes out if you saw it  |

I only have Flash 5, I've heard MX is a lot better and easier to use. ^_^

It's not hard if you know basically how animation works, and you're obsessed with it. In other words, if you're me.

I remember when I first started with flash.. I, er, gave up.
Then a couple months later, I attempted again, and wouldn't let myself give up until I understood the basics. It took like, a week of self-loathing >.> But I got the hang of it, and now I have many flashbabies. <3

I do frame by frame animations on a gif animator. I downloaded the flash mx trial but I couldn't make head nor tail of it. That motion tweening stuff is complicated . It is a bit slow doing frame by frame, I took an hour to do this, plus you can't do sound.  |

I know how to make flash, but I suck. The best I've ever done is a kitty's face flying everwhere and stuff. My brother is better. He can do alot of stuff ^_^

I'm getting the hang of that basics. My first real animation is a stick-figure who takes a step and falls over. Not a sock-rocker but ...
I want to know how you can get animations onto Deviantart and stuff. Like, it asks for a preview image and I make one but when you click on it, it just shows the preview image! Not the flash! It's infuriating ...
EDIT: Boosh! I did it! But I must now how you can make it start automatically -.- Or with a "play" button. Either one.

Lucky Blub I've made three short kinda-crappy animation thingies so far. My favourite is my second - "Walkies!" It actually looks animated! I've got Flash under control so play buttons and uploading onto Deviantart are my next goals. |
