Grrrr... look what you guys did, you got me obsessed with NeoQuestII again... I just found out there's a second inn between the Sand Grundo and that guy that comes after him.

*bangs head* Stupid faeries... How the heck do I beat the stuffing out of them? I just died and went back to Augur Faunt.

I always concentrate fire on the water faerie first. Because once she's down, no one else is coming back up. Then Fire, then whoever has the least HP left.
Use slow potion and slow the fire faerie. Haste your party. Have velm group-heal his lizardy little clerics brains out.

*bangs head* Stupid faeries... How the heck do I beat the stuffing out of them? I just died and went back to Augur Faunt. -raises hand awkwardly- Erm...you don't mind if I try to help, do you? ^^; Before you enter battle, make sure that you max out on slowing/haste potions from Augur Faunt. At the start of the battle, slow down all four faeries. Yup, you heard me right...ALL of them. From my plays through this game, it doesn't look as if these faeries have the ability to resist slowing potions some of the time like most bosses (of course, I could have just been lucky all three times ). Afterwards, haste your party and heal if necessary. Then, concentrate on taking each faerie down one at a time... The Water Faerie is tempting to take down first because of her healing abilities, but you should really focus on the offensive powerhouses in the beginning. Take down the Fire Faerie first, as she's got the lowest HP and the most dangerous magic attacks. You should be able to deal damage faster than the Water Faerie can heal her comrade. Afterwards, go for the Dark Faerie next. Those slowing potions might be wearing down right about now, so don't forget to chuck a few more to keep their speed down. After the Dark Faerie, your next target should be the Water Faerie, and the battle should go fairly quickly from there... Just keep the faeries slowed, haste your party, and group-heal when necessary, and you should emerge from this battle victorious. ;D

Thanks...I'll do Fire, then Water, then Dark and finally Earth. I hate those slowing attacks... Wish me luck, I really am maxing out on the speed and slow potions.

I personally do Fire, Dark, Water then Earth.
In other news, my friend beat Insane and got a Wand of Reality. *drools*

WAND OF REALITY...I want one of those! ;D
In other news, I beat the faeries in FWDE order. ;D I had to overtrain, since I fled from them once and got defeated once.
I decided to skip Hubrid Nox, but I trained for an extra level in the tower.
EDIT: Whoopee-doo. In Faerieland, looking for the Devilpuss.

YES! YES! I DID IT!
I got the Devilpuss avatar! But I've got one question...
Why is it that my Critical Attacks are reduced to 60 against him?

Heh...congrats on getting past the Faeries (and getting to where you are now, past the Devilpuss)! ^^ Erm...as to the reduced Crit. Attack question...I've got no idea why its power lowered on that boss o_0...must've been a small glitch or just bad luck...

I think the Devilpuss could be immune to Rohane's Critical Attacks...the same thing happened with my first battle vs. the Faerie Thief. And according to IDNQ, she's supposedly immune to his strong attacks. Next stop: Second Faerie Thief battle

Gooo Kat! Yay!
You're probably experiencing the frustration of walking... and walking... and walking... just imagine the horror for someone who DIDN'T have maps.
Pant Devils are easy. Plus, they give excellente weapons/armour! Great oppurtunity.

Plus, they give excellente weapons/armour! Great oppurtunity. Guess I should be lucky to have IDNQ and their handy maps open in another window. ;D Anyway, I'm headed for the final Faerie Thief battle. Darn it...she's immune to Rohane's Critical Attacks, so I'll rely on Mipsy's AM and Talinia's maxed-out Shockwave.

No, not immune, takes less damage. And that's why I always use bilterate. Oh, and the palace is REALLY long and annoying. You'll get bored of fighting corrupted light faeries and the like soon enough.

You'll get bored of fighting corrupted light faeries and the like soon enough. But there's just one little bitty problem... I DON'T HAVE OBLITERATE!!! And I'm already on level 55, which means I can't upgrade all the way there anymore!
