Teow - Congrats, but hey, at least it wasn't the SoRF. ^_~ I got that, and eventually got attached to it. XD

I was at level twelve and didn't think of fleeing. DX He was at 1 HP himself, the stupid thing.

Yep, I am on summer break and have much free time so I must finish evil before school starts! Sadly I was busy for the past week, and there goes my must-finish-evil-fast thing =((

icy broadsword - Battle Taunt: +2 dmg 25
or
deadly shortsword - Critical Attacks: +2 dmg 23
?
Which one would you choose? I think the dmg 23 is better...Cos it's better to have more Critical Attacks, even if we are "sacrificing" 2 dmg, right?
Also last question, when I am in one-opponent battle, shall I use Attack or Triple Nock for Talinia? =/ I am not sure...

;_; Insane is so hard. I keep nearly dying and I'm not even up to Zombom yet! Failureee.
Edit: I'm not sure either Christos. D: I'd probably go for Battle Taunt since that's what my guide said I should be raising in Insane, but it's your call depending on what mode you're on I guess. I have no idea about Talinia though!

;_; Insane is so hard. I keep nearly dying and I'm not even up to Zombom yet! Failureee. The early game is always the worst part; it'll get easier after you get Mipsy and the other characters. If you overlevel, everything after Zombom should be easy. Christos, I always use Talinia's multiple targets when the option is there, because it takes a while to recharge and she can attack during that time. At higher levels, multiple targets is pretty useful. As to the swords, I'd probably go with the one that boosts Critical Attacks. I'm not sure how much of a difference 2 damage points make, but a critical attack can make up for that. If you're not sure, though, you could try both while hunting around.

Congrats, Christos! It's a royal pain when bosses heal themselves. I overleveled for the whole of the Lost Desert (and actually for the whole game, although after I got Velm I got a little less cautious), which I discovered makes boss fights much easier. Good luck against old Coltzan. I need to get through that swamp in my Insane game and get on with the Haunted Woods.

I finally exchanged my pets around a bit and now Fluffy is back on my main. That means I can finally finish my NQ InSaNe game and FINALLY get a trophy upgrade and more bragging rights!
...
Wow, still at level 7 and just outside that cave. Now I remember - I was collecting glowing stones. XD

I have absolutely no memory of what you have to do in the beginning of NeoQuest I. I'm around level 22 and in the Jungle Ruins, I believe. I still have a Meepit or two to knock around. I hope my NQI game hasn't gotten reset from inactivity. XD;
