I've decided to try NQ2 on Evil difficulty, and am trying Aphromeda's skill-distribution guides.... *pause* Of course, I just started and am still tromping around west of Trestin trying to get past level 3, so it's not like I've had that many skill points to distribute.
In the meantime, I'm sitting here wondering about the implications of the apparently animal-like Lupes and Aishas (and Gelerts) roaming naked around Meridell (and assorted others further along) ready to be turned savage while other Neopet species (and possibly other Lupes and Aishas, can't remember) act like people and live in towns. Granted, it's a story even in context of the, er, framing story, but it doesn't seem to strike Rohane as anything odd when he's awake either.
And then there's whether to use geographical features in stories. Hee. I could have fun with that, I suspect....

*ruefully agrees* I haven't actually gotten Rohane killed, but I got up to the second floor of the Mysterious Tower (looking for Zombom) at level 9 and decided I'd better back down and go try to pick up some more levels and healing potions.
I'm thinking I'll have to be more careful about leveling up early if I want to finish this and go on to Insane... but you end up fighting Terask II at level 60 no matter what, so I'm sort of scared.
