I took out my fake Radish Bow (because there's actually an item called that), but I'm leaving in my Leb388 Doll. NO ONE is taking away my Leb388 Doll.
Fake items are when you use the URL of the original item so people come to your shop, and then link it to a fake login page or a scam-site. I could see where they might think of ours as bad, but a quick view of the page our plushies link to would show they're just for fun. Then again, they never pay attention to us....

Also, I've finished reading the Terms and Conditions (I've read the kiddie version and the fine print), and nowhere does it say that fake items aren't allowed. Some notable things:
--You can't link to a chat board/forum (like this one) from any Neopets page
--"Although we periodically monitor exchanged and posted information...." They read our Neomails? It seems like a violation of privacy (but it is their site), and they've got that bad-word-block, too.
--"You hereby understand and agree that NeoPets does not allow Postings that contain...religious...commentary...." So, according to this, they don't allow you to say "Merry Christmas."
--"You specifically acknowledge that soliciting other Neopets' users to join or become members of any commercial online service or other organization or group (profit, non-profit, religious, social, political, or otherwise) is expressly prohibited." Does this mean that people who randomly Neomail me asking "Join my guild!" can be frozen?

My sister was scammed while she was looking for codestones. She clicked on a fake codestone and it took her to a fake log-in page, which she filled in, and her account was gone. I think she got it back somehow, though...I forget how.

I think she got it back somehow, though...I forget how. I HATE those things. I got scammed once, but I changed my password as soon as I realized it. Anytime I get a login screen for Neopets, I immediately check the address bar. I also check the rollover in the status bar, as well, before clicking. I always report the offender with BOTH the account name and the address it links to. Can't have a link to NTWF, eh? There goes another of my shop thingies.. ***HEAVY SIGH***

I HATE those things. I got scammed once, but I changed my password as soon as I realized it. That's the same thing I did. I was fairly new to the site, so I just entered my password unknowingly. I forgot what I was trying to buy, though. I think it was a faerie....

Is it just my imagination, or is Neopets becoming more strict? Nah, must be my imagination....

Honestly, there was no scam there! I could understand if it linked to the usual fake log-in page or something of that nature, but it DOSEN'T!
Still, wouldn't someone have had to report you for them to notice? I'd personaly like to know the lil jerk who did that, thinking it was a scam (or just being an idiot).
I think Neopets has become disgustingly strict with rules. It seems that now watching restocks and sharing accounts can get you frozen. I don't really understand the account thing, I suppose it has something to do with multiple IPs getting lots of prizes on one account...
All in all, thats complete bull-poop. >P It's not a scam, it's just a cute little thing...

I know! Do you think maybe we could get a petition going to make them allowed?

Nah, it's the whole thing of 'one ruins it for everyone'. It's the scammers that killed it, but I STILL don't see any issue with it! I could understand IF it led to a log-in page or if it said "PAY ME 1,000,000 AND THAT PLUSHIE IS YOURS!", but...eh, I dunno...
>P Go figure...

Their specific wording on that chat-thing: "online chat rooms anywhere on our site or links to sites with chat rooms" Now, my question is, does this place really qualify as a "chat room"? (I'm honestly asking, because terminology often escapes me, but I remember someone once telling me that a place like this would be outside of their wording.)

I think chatboards are out of the relm of it (not sure, but I think so), but they're just covering their butt from a lawsuit where someone's precious 6 year old wanders into an adult chat...
But, chats can't have their comments erased, boards can. So I would assume that they would go more after people with chats then boards.
Bah, it's too early, I'm babbling here...

Well, if we can't link to this board anymore, we could always say it on our userpage (people have already done that). We could also put it on our pet's pages, which let's me do SOMETHING. I like the babaa! It looks so nice. I don't have any plushies in my shoppy, though.
I think we really should get the Neopets Team to start warning people before they freeze.

I think we really should get the Neopets Team to start warning people before they freeze. They do, but I think that scamming and cheating gets an automatic freezing, so that people can't get more points (and distribute it out) or scam more people.

Meep... I suppose... I mean, opening up a window with all the plushies isn't really a scam, right?
Oh, in this one store (I was looking for more fans), the link for the items were gone. It was really weird. O.O The things were like crooked and you couldn't buy anything... it looked as though it was an attempt to make a plushie but all the aligning and stuffies were messed up.
