I got a Russian Doll for Christmas (You know, A doll in another doll in another doll until it gets as small as it gets.) and the first time I pulled it apart, I got the usual 2nd doll and... whats this? A paper from Russia? It has a flower on it and it says:
C P Y E B 3 E b H 6 (N backwards) A P
(dot in middle) (N backward)HKPYCTA4(N backward)(R backward)
Can anyone translate this thing? I'm assuming its Russian.
Gah! Its supposed to have big spaces in between, surrounding the flower pot! Not close together! To make the ones to read from top to bottom less confusing... CYBEH(N backwards)P PE3b6A

Two russian girls who sing "all The Things She Said" and "Not Gonna Get Us", and have recently released an album in english, "200 Km/H in the wrong lane". I love them, and wish I could translate their russian lyrics.

I speak Latin, so I only know the root words. Yes, even for Russian.

One of the three languages offered at my school is Russian, and supposedly the teacher is really good. Everyone at school who I ask "which language should I take" always say RUSSIAN! The Spainish teacher is also crazy, and nobody likes her, not even the smart kids who like most teachers. The French teacher is said to be nice and easy, but the seniors only know how to pronounce French and what one third of the words mean.
However, my mom says that I will study Russian over her dead body, and she strongly discourages French. She's investigating trying to find an outside Spainish school with a good reputation where I can get my foreign language credits/

The school I went to before I started homeschooling had a great Spanish program. They had =two different teachers teaching two different skill levels. One of them was nice and easy going and the other was crazy, but in a fun way. But they teach Spanish by grade level and if you weren't tere to learn something earlier he still expects you to know it. When you tell him why you don't and ask if he could help you catch up he shrugs his shoulders and says "Not my fault." When you say that it isn't your fault either he says "Life isn't fair." A lot of kids liked him because he was fun, but I hated him. What made it worse was that I was supposedly his star pupil and he let the whole class know.
Of course, I'm talking about the middle school program. I don't know what the high school program is like.

Why doesn't your mother want you to elarn russian, Sara? My mMom said I could go to russian classes at the University (but it's not uni students only, of course) russian classes, if I wanted. And why shouldn't I? The reason why I want to learn russian is to be able to understand Tatu's songs, and taht exactly the same reason that led me to want to learn english: to understand the Spice Girls' (don't laugh...-_-) songs...

I take Spanish. It's really easy. It's not that I'm not learning anything--the class just goes at a veeeeery slow pace, and some people still don't get it. When we learn the forms of irregular verbs, people don't know them after two months have gone by. It's very frustrating.
I wish I knew Russian. And Latin. And French. And Italian. And German. And Greek. And Elvish. I wish I knew every language. I'm making a language as well. It would be cool to know every language. Yup... Anyway. Yeah. Carry on.
