Movie, Spielberg, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hanks
Plot : teen runaway sucessfully lives a lavish life on the run via check fraud. FBI track him. "Inspired by a true story".
Rating : 3 out of 5 stars.
I don't have much to say about the movie. It's somehing which I would recommend watching on television and not in theaters. Its fun to watch lightly but it is not worth spending more than three dollars. However Tom Hanks does a great job as an FBI agent, and Leonardo DiCaprio's performance is OK.
Now that I've seen the movie, I wonder how it really happened. Something tells me that the movie distorts a lot.

I cannot belive people think Leonardo DiCaprio is cute! He is so ugly! XP I think he is closer to being ugly than cute, but yeah, I don't fall for him. Though the DiCarprio versin of Romeo and Juliet is pretty good, but it's not because of DiCaprio

Oh come on, he's not that ugly either! Maybe 50-50, somewhere in between... Not the kind of guy I would like now, but back when I was a semi-teenybopper (oh yes... the shame... You have no idea how hard it is to admit this, but I actually liked the backstreet boys back then... Oh well, people change... ), I thought he was kinda cute. Now men like that Viggo guy who plays Aragorn or Antonio Banderas are the kind I find cute.

I personally thought it was a really fun film to watch. ^_^ Tom Hanks was wonderful. I've always admired him as an actor and his performance was great. Overall I really loved the whole movie.
One of my favorite parts was when he pretended to be the substitute. XD That was so great. I wish I could pull off something like that.
And I don't know, I just really enjoyed the plot. Just because you really liked his character and you didn't *want* him to be caught like most "criminals".
Ha ha, When his mom wanted to write a check for all the conning he had done...Whew. Good stuff.

My parents want to see that movie very badly. I think it's eh, ok... but I think I'd rather not.
It seems to have the same humour as ocean's eleven. None.

[glow=pink,2,300]I usually don't go and see things in theatres unless it's a great action film, like a James Bond, triple X or something like that. Otherwise, it's a waste of money. It's so expensive now! In canada, it's $14! [/glow]

Well, I didn't mind the movie. I went to see it with my brother and cousin, and it was okay (it wasn't one I was dying to see, and if they hadn't been going and asked if I wanted to tag along I wouldn't have gone but would have watched on video instead). Still, I thought it was pretty good, but when you think about it, what kind of moral does it have? lol [glow=pink,2,300]I usually don't go and see things in theatres unless it's a great action film, like a James Bond, triple X or something like that. It's so expensive now! In canada, it's $14! ] *whistles* Wow ... it only cost $7 for me. Of course a U.S. dollar is worth more than a Canadian dollar, but still siginificently higher. It was also a fairly large theatre - But then of course I only saw this in theatre becauae a) it's with the same great group I saw LotR : TT with and b) there was a great meal in the bargain (Spainish Seafood - I try to avoid seafood, but I will eat it occasionally). It was a good day ^.^ Otherwise I would have just seen it on television if at all. Also, I just came back from seeing another movie with this group - Europa Europa (the Holland movie, there are two movies with this title). What can I say - they're a great bunch!
