You know, this is why I fought for Meridell. I don't support Skarrl and his theiving ways, I support the innocent people of Meridell. I've said that over and over again. Wronged or not, if Darigan's troops go and blow up a barn filled with innocent little petpets (Ye Olde Petpet Shoppe), they're the bad guys, whether or not the orb is rightfully theirs (which it is).

Maybe I'll come off as sounding like an ass, but I can honestly say I do not feel bad or surprised about what happened to Meridell. I didn't join Darigan's side thinking Meridell would be hunky-dory at the end...I knew it was going to be destroyed at least in part and those who thought they could fight for Darigan with nothing bad happening to Meridell are fools. Yeah, I'll go along with that, except that I _do_ feel bad about what happened to Meridell. I joined the losing side, knowing full well they were going to lose, but refusing to switch because I didn't want to be part of the group that would catch the blame when Meridell got destroyed. The TRUE blame lies with NeoPets, but mark my words, they'll say it's all the fault of the Darigan supporters for "making" this result happen. I have never used the Turmaculous, all of my Pick Your Own berries and Cheeseroller Cheeses have come from the shop wizard, my meridell petpets came from the trading post, and my honey potion came from the the auction block...all at much more than their retail price. Ergo, I feel I owe meridell nothing and I will not "regret" siding with Darigan. . Hmm, I sense a contradiction here. After all, if there had never been a Meridell, there also never would have been any Pick Your Own berries, Cheeseroller cheeses, Meridell PetPets or Honey Potion for you to obtain from the shop wizard, trading post or auction block. Ergo, you did make use of Meridell, albeit in a roundabout way). ;D If all of those items people are panicking over were truly not ever going to be available again, they would all have a big gray (RETIRED) note beneath them.....since they don't, this leads me to believe they will be available again soon....so before everybody gets their undies in a twist, let's wait and see what happens. Good point. I noticed that too. Darigan has the orb back now, meaning their kingdom will be restored.... I hate to be a pessimist, but "it ain't necessarily so." The way NeoPets keeps throwing curve balls our way, it wouldn't surprise me a bit if the next thing we learn is that Darigan brainwashed all his subjects into believing that nonsense about the Orb, just to give them the incentive to attack Meridell. Or something along that line. Time, of course, will eventually tell the final truth. From what I've heard someone's already discovered the URL to an unreleased bullseye game. Think I saw this as well. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a link to the old bullseye game, one that existed back before the Meridell one.

NOTHING in Neopia is really the doing of the players, in a development sense. The staff doesn't even take the polls that they themselves set up seriously. Shall we review? Which world should we make? Public opinion: Futuristic Result: Medievel (okay, I wanted this but, obviously, the majority didn't) Should we make it so that you can see a faint outline around invisible pets? (overwhelming) public opinion: Yes The result: None Should we make every pet available in every color paint brush? Puublic opinion: Yes Result: No (Okay, so I can understand this one. But they shouldn't have put it up as a poll if they weren't going to take it seriously) Should Chia Flour be banned? Public Opinion: Yes Result: None Oh, and I would SWEAR that the suggestions@neopets.com address is never read, 'cause I've seen absolutely no sign that it has been.

I agree, nothing seems to rely on the public anymore. I mean, remember that "Plushie Pb Giveaway" they had? The top two winners received an additional 1 million Np (Adam and Donna were *coincidentally* the winners ) Okay so that was more of a joke than anything else, but I felt it necessary to mention. Waaaahhhhhh I miss Meridell already!

The Space Station seems to possess many qualities for a futuristic one...

Potato counter is GONE! Now all that remains outside of the castle is Tower of Turnips, and no one likes that game anyway, or at least as far as I know.

But it wouldn't make sence if Darigan lived in Jelly World because in the latest plot we see their old kingdomand it wasen't jellyworld. ; maybe Darigan will restore Meridell so it's Jellyland?

maybe Darigan will restore Meridell so it's Jellyland? Yeah, but then Meridell would be gone, and Meridell will be back once this plot is over...

You guys are coming up with ideas that make less sense than Neonuts'. You should see some of the theories people post on Pink Poogle Toy. Those are truley things that don't make any sence...

You should see some of the theories people post on Pink Poogle Toy. Those are truley things that don't make any sence... ' I saw the pre-war theories. People just COULDN'T figure out that the "Jelly War" reffered to on the Ixi default pet's page is a food-fight with jelly. Honestly, to think they are talking about the real war they must not have read it in context at all! I don't think I care to read the post-war theories after all of the crazy pre-war speculation. No one can spread rumors faster than PPT, either, which is really a pain in the neck.
