Maybe I'll come off as sounding like an ass, but I can honestly say I do not feel bad or surprised about what happened to Meridell. I didn't join Darigan's side thinking Meridell would be hunky-dory at the end...I knew it was going to be destroyed at least in part and those who thought they could fight for Darigan with nothing bad happening to Meridell are fools.
I have never used the Turmaculous, all of my Pick Your Own berries and Cheeseroller Cheeses have come from the shop wizard, my meridell petpets came from the trading post, and my honey potion came from the the auction block...all at much more than their retail price. Ergo, I feel I owe meridell nothing and I will not "regret" siding with Darigan.
If all of those items people are panicking over were truly not ever going to be available again, they would all have a big gray (RETIRED) note beneath them.....since they don't, this leads me to believe they will be available again soon....so before everybody gets their undies in a twist, let's wait and see what happens.
Darigan has the orb back now, meaning their kingdom will be restored...and their pavillion is still floating there, so chances are the things unavailable in Meridell now will become available in Darigan (at least for awhile). From what I've heard someone's already discovered the URL to an unreleased bullseye game.

Yeah, I know it's just temporary. Hmm... but... (i forgot what I was going to say)... oh, right. Erm... do you think the Citavel will become like a new world where like ummm... ok... i'll be quiet now..

I think we will just end up knowing that Darigan really lives in the Jelly World, and decides to go back, splitting the orb in two. Voilá, Meridell is good again, and we have a new world.  |

I think we will just end up knowing that Darigan really lives in the Jelly World, and decides to go back, splitting the orb in two. Voilá, Meridell is good again, and we have a new world. But it wouldn't make sence if Darigan lived in Jelly World because in the latest plot we see their old kingdomand it wasen't jellyworld.  ; |

 NOOOOOO!!!! NOOOOOO!!!! I WANT PICK-YOUR OWN!! It was the only way people would come to my shop... ;_; I'm pretty sure it's temporary, but do you suppose they'll buy berries for a higher price ;D? OH WOW! They sell berries for nearly 100 NP! I can make dozens... MUHAHAHHA, I am so evil! I can't wait until January 17th (my Neobirthday! ^-^) well actualy, nothing has happened to the pick your own stall as of yet. |

I agree with Karma - I never really did much in Meridell anyway. Maybe one or two games of turnip-stacking, oh yes, and a poker addiction; but other than that, is there anything that really stands out about Meridell? That's a lot of coding to go down the drain in an instant, but think for a moment: will you miss it?
...I wonder what will happen to everyone who built their Neohomes on Meridell land? Betcha Neopets team even think of doing anything with that.

A while ago, (no, this is not the same as the dream one in the "Don't Click Here!" board.) I had a thought about the orb splitting in two and Jeran seeing things... oops! Too much said...
