I'm home sick today...yesterday, too...there's a bug going around a lot of schools in my area, and it seems I've got it: sore throat, headache, fever...
Ick. I'd better be better by tomorrow, or it'll take forever to get all the makeup work done.
Oh, well...I guess I could work on a story or something today...
Anyone else sick, or am I the only one feeling awful?

I'm not sick, but me mom is. She can't talk too well, and I don't know how she managed at work. I thought you went somewhere -- like homesick, not at home, sick. Oh well . . . I've been sick before, and it's horrible. I hope that I wont be sick enough to skip school, because I hate it when I miss things . . . it seems like I was out of school forever . . . and being sick at home means you're really sick, and that's the worst part. *ahem* And yes, I feel sorry for you.  |

I've been home for two days now, because I clobbered my baby toe because I kicked a microave. It wasn't my fault!!! I turned around and hit my toe on the microave on the floor!!!  I missed the skating trip yesterday, but my class didn't get to go.  Today I missed a trrip to the Art Gallery I picked the TWO WORST DAYS (almost)to kill my toe!!! (It would've been worse on the last days of school before Christmas Break: We went skating on Wednes day, to LoTR2 on Thursday, and had a party on Friday!) |

Yeah...I can hardly speak. My voice is rather odd-sounding at the moment... I had to miss the first practice for Select Band since break...so...yeah. I don't know if I can play flute like this or not. Yes...there is a difference between 'homesick' and 'home sick'  I definitely prefer 'home sick' to 'homesick', though. At least if you're 'home sick' you get extra time on Neopets... I hope your foot feels better, Ajennsis...Did you break a bone, or just bruise it up? |

Hmm . . . if you don't have a voice, you can still play the flute, can't you? I wouldn't know because I've never played it . . . but you blow in there, you don't have to make any sounds, do you?

Playing flute doesn't require a voice, but I'm worried it'll make my throat hurt if I play too much. It's been kinda feeling funny, and I don't want to irritate it.
I couldn't go to Select Band because it's a school activity...if you miss school, you have to miss any school activities. Anyway, I'd be blowing germs all over the person who sits to my right.

Oh, right. Yeah . . . I'm going to be playing the clarinet soon . . . hopefully. I hope I don't get sick!

Aw man, that really sucks. One time at scholl, I ate to much choclate at lunch and had to miss recess, but, If I didn't go out earier, then nobody would have noticed that the eighth graders broke a window throwing rocks.... My teeth hurt. Some of my spacers fell out and I had to get new ones in. It wouldn't hurt so bad if the lady didn't put that spacer between my still growing 12 year old molar! Ouch... I lost two and she put three or four in... o.O

Eh, if it's any consolation I have a cold which is coming and going at the worst time... I have finals in two days, and then after that I have four new classes (it's like the first day of school all over again). Luckily, I keep my first two classes, so it's not a huge dramatic change... Hope you feel better! ^__^  |
