Cool! Here in Israel we don't get snow, we only get them on mountains, but no snowy-all-year-long areas

*snarls* Eh, we have at least two feet of snow on the ground and a lot of ice, and we haven't had even one snow day yet this year. Our superintendent is...eh, has...bad judgment when it comes to these things. Last year, my bus slipped on an icy road and went off. Thankfully, it didn't turn over; it was only really tilted, and it was awfully fun waiting outside in the snow, looking at this big huge bus slanted over the roadside.

Southern California? No snow. Ever. Like I posted in another board, there are five seasons here: summer, summer, summer, summer and slightly windy summer.
Good for you, though!

All hail the snow day! Sol_luna, they don't even provide busing for students in our area. There's at least 2 1/2 feet on the ground now, probably less since it melted and refroze, but the current temperature is 1 degree Farenheit, according to Weatherbug. Whee! New England weather!

Last year in April or May, we had a heat wave (3 days of 90 degree+ temperature), an earthquake, thunderstorms, and snow flurries--all in one week.
Bow before the unstoppable New England weather!
