Here're a few from me (although I didn't make them up): 1. The Smith family includes Mr. and Mrs. Smith and their five children. Half of their children are boys. None of their children have any kind of birth defects. How is this possible? 3. 'Jackdaws love my big sphinx of quartz.' Ignoring its senselessness, what is unusual about the preceding sentence? 1. all of the children are boys (5 boys) so when you say half of them are boys.. the other half is too.
3. shouldn't it be 'Jackdaws loves my big sphinx of quartz

i'm just doing it in lime green because i think the green's brighter than the blue
A man wants to escape from one country to another. His only method of escape is a bridge that is 1 mile long, with guards that can see to either end. It will take him twenty minutes to cross the bridge. The guards at either end of the bridge are ordered to shoot people fleeing their country, and turn people away hoping to enter their country. The guards will patrol every 10 minutes. What can the man do to escape without dying?
yes i managed to tell more of it wrong. okay.. just think.. the guards will only look around every ten minutes.. but this man will only be halfway across by then
A man is standing on the forested shore of a small lake. He wants to get onto a tiny island in the middle of a lake. On the island there is one lone tree. He has an extremely long length of rope, but as usual cannot swim. How does he get across? (think circles)
Two twin brothers alike in every single way go to a bar. Unknown to them, the bartender wants to kill them. He gives them both two drinks, which each have been poisoned in the same way. After the brothers drink up and leave, one's fine and the other dies. What happened? (think speed)
Whoever makes it, tells it not. Whoever takes it, knows it not. And whoever knows it, wants it not. What is it? (sara was right thinking along the way of lies.. but it's a tangible object)
hehe.. c'mon these aren't tooo hard

It MUST have something to do with which country he's trying to get to. But even if he's not trying to escape the country that will get him shot. . . won't he still get turned away. . . Oh! I see! When the gaurds leave for there break, he positions himself in the middle of the bridge. He then pretends to be trying to enter the country that he is actually trying to escape. The gaurds will turn him away, but they will ACTUALLY be SENDING him where he wants to go! Genius!

hehe.. c'mon these aren't tooo hard All right, lime green for posting and red for answering. The first one in quotes was answered already by someone else--one brother didn't drink the poison.
And I already heard the second one, so I won't say it.

Err... okay, I hope nobody asked these questions yet, but they aren't really RIDDLES, they're more like... questions...
What's the greatest invention in all of Neopia-- I mean, in the world?
Clue: It's not Neopets or the NT Forums

Uh, a placebo (something which is usually sugar, but is claimed to be medicine).

Here's some that I think weren't answered yet:
1. A man shot his wife, and she died. She was not threatening him or anyone else. The man gave himself up to the police, and they released him. Why? Clues: The man had a longstanding motive to kill her; The man was clearly guilty, but had to be released under the law; The man was punished for his crime.
2. Why did Bill thank Ted for eggs that Bill had never received and Ted had never given? Clues: They were neighbors; Ted was lazy.
3. A child was born in Boston, Massachusetts, to parents who were both born in Boston, Mass. The child was not a U.S. citizen. How is this possible?
4. In what year did Christmas and New Year's fall on the same year?
5. After the new canon law took effect on November 27, 1983, would a Roman Catholic man have been able to marry his widow's sister?

Riddles are fun. All the riddles I know are easy. What appears four times every week, twice in every month, and once in a year? That's too easy... I need like a giant book of riddles or something

You didn't say that the brothers ACTUALLY drank the stuff when you told it the first time. By "speed" do you mean amphetamines? Or do you just mean that one brother drank the drink later than the other brother, and he'll die too but not as soon. Or do you mean that if you drink the poison slowly enough, it won't kill you, and one brother drank it that slow?

Does that mean an object you can touch, and not lies or life, or anything? Okie... *thinks* dung? LOL... err... tangible object.. No, doesn't... no... intagability is the ability to go through stuff like a ghost (except people can actually see you; you're not invisable), so does it mean... yes, it is tangable. Okie... stuck! Lol, I'll thinkie about it.
