... not to be confused with hatemail or Angelfire Email.
I've noticed that the "angermail" doesn't seem to get much attention, yet it's definitely out there. For example, here's an example of a neomail from two articles back which was a reply to my reply -
Ah, sorry for the rant then. Your article sorta made me believe that you only really had one view about rules ^^; Gomen!
I lost the original message, but this is the perfect example of anger mail, Just be calm, be honest, and it'll be OK.
Recently I also got this stunning gem -
I was debating to treat it as either hatemail or angermail. I decided, when in doubt, assume it's angermail. If it's hatemail, then I know I don't have much chance of being friends with this person, and I no longer give a rat's neck what they think about me, so in a way any approach is OK. However with angermail, it's a different story. I replied -
Then I got this reply back -
And I sent back
My impression is that this person is relatively-good at heart, but could use some more social skills. Do you guys agree with me, or do you think this person is just a plain jerk?

excuse me?!! I AM NOT STUPID!!! i have an A in English and i use chat speak as u call it! it's just faster to type that way and then i can get on with whatever i'm doing. for instance if i'm playing a game then i need to quickly reply to someone. i would just say brb or something like that. and i don't use it to be cool. i find it irritating when ppl use the suffixes z as well. or when they replace the word 'to' with '2'. but come on! don't make generalizations. that's not being fair

Calm down, you're overeacting. I didn't say people who used chatspeak were stupid - it just looks stupid. You may have an IQ of 140 for all I know, although I did say I'd prefer people not using chatspeak me around me (regardless of what you do with your friends) and you're clearly not doing that, so I question your courtesy skills.
Anyway, thanks for taking your time to read my article and taking your time to respond to it, even if it wasn't exactly positive.

Fine I can type normally just fine! give me your email you can read a story i'm working on. Your article is good though. You have a good point. I must admit some 'chatspeak' is really annoying. but replacing u for you is really normal.

My email address is sanf_sara@yahoo.com, however I probably can't read it tonight. In the mean time you can refer to my "list" of all the neopets-writing-help stuff out there - msarak.tripod.com/list.html (I know the ads are annoying, but that's what you get when you have a *free* website)
