This idea came to me while playing The Simpsons Road Rage. I have these visions of a Neopian Times version of the game Crazy Taxi (which is what TSRR is based off of). I didn't think of submitting the story to the NT (because of obvious reasons) unless it was like insanely good, so it would be like an in-forum silly story-to-laugh-about.
What would happen is a group of characters would discover a blatant transit problem, and then they decide to start a part-time taxi service. After other characters are impressed by the characters' taxi-driving abilities, they decide to help out the original drivers by bringing out their own vehicles and doing their part.
The way this will be executed is I start the bare-bones of the story and other writers add their characters later on. I haven't really figured out how this will be done - like a compliation of different parts, or a continue-me-story sort of thing.
And if you think this is a terrible idea, please, bash me across the head with a mallet so this idea will go away! I've been plagued many nights by this and I needed to get it out in the open.

Hmm...I just had some new thoughts on this.
If we (or I) decided to do it as a continue-me-story, one writer would need to relinguish control of his/her characters if the other writer wanted to use them as a rider...although every writer could use their own characters...but then there wouldn't be much variety.
I'll probably end up writing this anyway, for my own benefit. I could write it and post it here, and if people wanted to write another part, I would add it...
I don't know. I'm just rambling here. I just wanted to think of a new forum-wide writing activity, but my ideas are way too far-fetched.
My brain hurts. I'll shut up now.

I think it's a great idea!
It would be nice to see how many of the different characters of the Times would react in this situation, and I'd love to see it done.

Aw, really? You think it's a good idea? When I first posted this, I thought I'd need the fireproof monitor shield to protect myself from all the flames I was expecting.
Out of boredom, I started what could be a possible storyline for the story:
Teal Trio Office... Blue Dragon made himself look like he was doing something productive at his desk while Gatling and Dragoon, his accomplices, were enjoying a two-player match of a game from their personal library.
“Are you done with that game yet? I want to watch TV,” Blue said.
“Yeah, I guess so. Dragoon’s beating me like crazy,” Gatling replied. He pressed a couple buttons on the TV remote and the game was replaced with a news report. “Hey! They’re not showing Miataro!”
“Hello. I’m Maria Blumaroo and we’re here live in Downtown Neopia Central where Balthazar the Lupe is unveiling his new line of Faerie-powered buses,” the newscaster reported.
“My Faerie-powered transit system is the most advanced form of public transportation known to Neopians. It is super-efficient, produces no pollution, has no magical side-effects on passengers, and its only emission is a heightened aura left in its wake,” Balthazar explained, standing atop a podium while battling numerous microphones constantly probed at him.
Dragoon scoffed. “Faerie power? Come on, there’s got to be some sort of catch.”
“Balthazar! What does it take to fuel a vehicle such as this?” a press reporter inquired.
“Although this type of bus is efficient, there is one drawback. As you may of guessed, it runs on Faeries.”
Blue’s, Dragoon’s, and Gatling’s jaws dropped the instant they heard this statement.
“Now if you excuse me, this press conference is over. I have a business to run,” Balthazar stated, departing from the podium. There was a commotion of voices as the remaining reporters pleaded for Balthazar to answer a few more questions.
Blue switched the television off. “All right guys, it’s time for action.”
“Aw, but my favorite show is on!” Gatling whined.
“Let’s go, Gatling! You never know, this might be fun!”

Of course it'll be CRAZY! Why do you think I put CRRAZZY in the title if it wasn't going to be CCRRAZZYY!!
Okay...I've lost my mind. Off to plan some more...

Yes, I was trying to find a reasonable way for this to go too. I think I'll try it as a Continue-Me-Story thing either on the forum or on my own website. I'm still putting thought into it...
