Hey, everyone, I redid the banner in my userlookup, because the old one was not showing right. Since I didn't want to bother the artists here like I did before, I just went ahead and tried my hand at doing a banner. :PTell me what you think of it (it's very simple, actually), and if you think it looks like I'm showing off - I'm a bit afraid people can get the wrong idea... I like it...I'm not sure, though, if it does come across the wrong way. It isn't really that boastful or attention-grabbing, but I don't know....

It's good, but it doesn't really blend in with the real banners that they have on Neopets sites.

It's the truth. You are a Neopian Times writer so I wouldn't say it's boastful. It looks good I think, but add a border. Then it will look perfect...and a little background colour is optional.

I actually meant for it not to be like the neopets banners. I like it that way, I was just afraid it would come out as if I was bragging. If you say it doesn't... then I'm happy  Even knowing that my art skills suck big time.   |

I have NT Writer and other stuff on my banner too. As too_kule said, it's the truth, it's not like your saying "I got published 20 times in the Neopian Times and I'm a foreigner so that makes me the #1 puslished author in the Neopian Times who doesn't speak English as a first language - isn't that great for me!"

I have NT Writer and other stuff on my banner too. As too_kule said, it's the truth, it's not like your saying "I got published 20 times in the Neopian Times and I'm a foreigner so that makes me the #1 puslished author in the Neopian Times who doesn't speak English as a first language - isn't that great for me!" I like it - very nice and profesional. It's not boasting - you're just showing your pride. Just remember not to use to dark of a background with it.
