Ok, I've been playing violin for 8 years. A couple weeks ago, I auditioned for this orchestra thing. Once you audition, you can be placed in various groups. There's the very top, the advanced, the intermediate, and then 2-3 beginner orchestras. I got a letter today saying that I had been placed in the very top one; the best there is. It's a huge achievement for me, because even though I've gotten good at playing, I've never done anything like this before. And the fact that the first time I tried I did good really makes me happy.
Edit: My Sloganizer just said 'Way to go Ishmale!' XD

That's AWESOME!!! 8 years of playing? Wow. I'm sure you'll do GREAT! It's great how you stuck with something so long. In the years to come you'll probably get even more acheivements  |
