I've known about this place for years, occasionally lurking, but figured I would finally make an account because I'm trying to be more social and also participate more in the Times/creative contests, and this place seems chill, if a little quiet! I never know what to write for intros.

I've gotten into the Times/AG/PC a handful of times. For the times, I have a small backlog of drafts that I've never finished (some probably should stay that way if I'm honest) or things that didn't get in that maybe I could rework. AG and PC I take more loosey-goosey, but could be fun to have a place to post drafts if y'all do that here!

Generally on Neopets I'm a bit of a dabbler.

Ooh nice, congrats then! The Times is my main contest, and I've gotten into the Art Gallery as well before, but poetry and storytelling evade me still. I think I entered poetry once before, but that's not a medium that comes naturally to me haha.

Yeah, you're totally welcome to post wip's or drafts of your works here! The Writer's Workshop and Art Studio boards are good places for that, depending on the kind of creative works they are. There's also a Work Reviews and Advice thread if you're seeking feedback on any of them.

Storytelling evades me as well, I've tried a few times, but it also doesn't come very naturally. Poetry I sometimes get a flash of inspiration.

Welcome! We can be slow to reply but folks are around!

We're mostly NT folk around here but most of us take part in the other creative contests too. NT comics are my bread and butter. I occasionally hop over to AG and BC too.

I really want to do storytelling but oof, it is hard to keep up with. And then by the time I catch up with a week I don't know what to write lol. I'm too out of practice with writing.

Welcome, Tina! You can request a shiny forum rank here to show off your onsite accomplishments! It's good to have you around. I'm a bit of a dabbler on Neopets, too.

This place used to be livelier when the creative contests were higher-priority for TNT (were updated more often, provided more communication, accepted more people, etc.), but there are still some people here willing to appreciate and support one another. Feel free to look around and post where you feel the most comfortable.
