If you don't, hi! I'm Dave, aka tambourine_chimp from Way Back When (I'm so old, if you search my username in the NT, the results are divided between the current and old formats of the paper!) and I'm looking to get back into Neopets, and hopefully write a bit more NT stuff
If you do, hi! Long time no see! I could use your help.
So about two weeks ago I decided to ressurect my account, to have a look around and see just how much has changed. I managed to get in with fairly little issue, got the NC gift, checked if the Labs I'd completed still worked, and found the new daily slot thing, then the whole TFA thing popped up... "No problem," I thinks to myself, "I deal with these all the time".
So I filled it out, and... I think something glitched badly. It kicked me out of the account and locked the door behind me. My password no longer works, neither does "Forgot Password", I'm not getting any emails to help me get my account back... I sent a support ticket to the site two weeks ago, have heard nothing back. Sent another tonight, but then remembered that the NTWF has - or had - actual Neopets staff members, as well as users who are in close contact with them, and was hoping someone could help me get back into my account? I've made so much progress with stuff like the treasure maps, my plushie collection, not to mention almost 100 NT entries if I recall... I really don't want to start all over again.
Can anyone help?

Hi Dave! I don't believe we've formally met before, although I do recognize your username! Welcome back, that's great that you're interested in returning to Neopets and the NT, and we're glad to have you stop by here as well I'm sorry to hear about your account, that does sound like some major glitch! Regarding TNT, unfortunately we do not have any staff members on the forum right now and probably won't anytime soon, as it's been that way since Jumpstart acquired Neopets in 2015. Some individual members like Carolyn have connections to TNT members like Aesop, although he's not part of support so I'm not sure how much he or similar TNT members may be able to do. Do you have any side accounts you can access? If so, I'd recommend posting your ticket number on the Highway to Help thread on the Neoboards, as a member of support will regularly go through and assign requests there. If you can't access any Neo account, you can also contact TNT through their other social medias like Twitter, and they can take your ticket number there to get it assigned.

Hi Dave! Long time, no see! I remember your short story from the Villains Collab *checks calendar* 8.5 years ago?! www.neopets.com/ntimes/index.phtml?section=558973&week=634I had trouble getting into my side account and sent a support ticket plus messaged the official Neopets Facebook group to speed things up. Wishing you all the best with that--the forced password reset wasn't the best move on TNT's part. Sadly, all official TNT presence is no longer here. Droplet was laid off back in 2015 or so, and none of the Jumpstart staff stop by here (although a few of them are on the Neopets Discord group). I am in contact with Aesop, Ivy, and Willow, but the first is creative staff and the latter two are both in marketing, so I don't think any of them would be able to help that much.

Aw yeah, TNT will be out of the office until after New Year's, which may explain the lack of response. Unfortunate that it's causing a delay, but hopefully that's the reason meaning you'll at least be able to hear back soon!

They (the support staff) seem to be asking that you send ticket requests for account recovery from the original email associated with the account, so if that's an option you should definitely do that. (I know it's likely you don't have access to that, especially with an old account, so rest assured I also see people on the neoboards reporting success otherwise too; seems to depend on the particular individual you get a hold of and the proof you can provide.)
