Issue 900!!!There are times when I’ll randomly feel nostalgic and begin to miss bits and pieces of my youth, and since Neopets was a pretty big part of it, this site is just a huge puddle of nostalgia for me. I get very emotional whenever I take a look at how much the site has grown over the years, and how much I’ve grown along with it. Gone are the days of blissful innocence where I can log in for the day without the slightest care in the world, and have been replaced by the stress of work, school, and other things, but it’s always nice to know that a huge piece of my childhood is still here, waiting for me to come back always.—milestrong ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ArticlesThank you, Neopian Times by Kat A Rap Battle: Neopian Kings and Queens by illiereShort StoriesAnniversary by HerdySery and Vina by Stephanie (swordlilly) ComicsThe Floating Islanders - NT 900 by ThemeguyThe Big Issue by EuphemiaAnd of course the Editorial! If I missed you, please let me know! ^^; I was away from Neo for a few years and have not gotten to know all the new people yet. Also, there were a few names that were super familiar but I wasn't sure if they were active NTWF members: chirigami, secant, fairyxhearts ?

Article reviews! ^-^ Thank you, Neopian Times by KatI really enjoyed your humour in this piece! I'll just quote some of my favourite bits xd "Thus, I overflow with gratitude for the Neopian Times... and cheesy statements like 'overflow with gratitude'." "Thank you, Neopian Times, for being with me – no, with us – all these years, and here’s to many more stories, articles, comics, general insanity, and April Fool’s jokes – wait, what, forget I said that last part. You saw nothing." "Raise your Tchea Grog mugs with me for a toast to the ‘Times! …Or Grog Light. Sure. If you’re concerned about your calories, ya landlubber." It was a delightful read I noticed some very small grammatical hiccups. Here's one: "I learned that you should not give up if you get a rejection letter, but it should be welcomed as an opportunity..." The grammatical subject of "you should not give up" is "you," so it's jarring when the next part of the sentence, instead of building on what "you" should do, instead says "but it..." Here's how I would fix the sentence: "I learned that you should not give up if you get a rejection letter. Instead, you should welcome the rejection as an opportunity..." The tiny hiccups don't take away from the beauty of the overall message, though! A Rap Battle: Neopian Kings and Queens by illiereI enjoyed reading this piece! It's very unique, not the kind of writing you typically see in the Times. I especially liked this line:
"Fyora, señora, always high and mighty with that elitist aura"
I found it catchy and funny!
The only critique I have is that sometimes I get confused about who's speaking, since the speaker's self-identification "I'm Nabile" can come out quite late in the paragraph. If you want to write another rap battle in the future, you could consider formatting it like a drama piece:
KING ROO: Yo, Altador, are you sure your judgment's all that great?
and so on, putting the name of the speaker in capital letters in front of their lines. Anyway, just something to consider!
