Hey! Some of you may be familiar with the fact that I draw comics. In particular, I have this one webcomic called Aiiro No Kunoichi, an action-packed story about a vigilante ninja warrior named Sanori Minosei who fights against crime and injustice... in theory, anyway. In reality, it's been around for eight years now and only has about a chapter and a half to its name, frequently going on very long breaks. And I feel kind of bad about that! ( I've left it at the same fight scene for two years) Anyway, the dirty secret is that I'm really not that confident in actually writing it. I've come to the point where I barely even HAVE a script anymore, just a handful of vague plans that never come to fruition. Turns out I'm really bad at writing action scenes in particular, which Aiiro is made up mostly of... but it's also one of those projects I would feel really bad about fully abandoning, so it just kind of sits around in perpetual limbo, occasionally guilting me with its uncertain fate. Which brings me to this thread! I've been thinking for a while now that I'd have a much easier time keeping up with it if I had someone helping me with the scripts. So... yeah. Would anyone be interested in that?

Just hearing the idea of this, I think this sounds very interesting, but there are a couple unknowns that have me hesitate. By helping you with the scripts, do you mean brainstorming what could happen and writing it from scratch together, or you write the script and get a second opinion on where things could go after that? How much work do you think would go to each partner working on this comic? Collaborating on a story sounds interesting, but I really don't know how much time or commitment I could promise to another big project, especially if it has an indefinite timeline like some other stuff I've got going.
So, just on the exterior, I'm curious, but I'm not sure how much I could really give to you or your story just based on time ^^; I don't know the amount of work you were thinking a co-writer to have, though, so I would be willing to help on a smaller scale if you ever need it!

It's hard to quantify since I'm sort of playing it by ear, myself. Someone to brainstorm with would be ideal, since the lack of ideas is what's killing it right now. The workload is super negotiable, since I know most people don't have tons of free time to spare. I suspect I'd be doing most of it either way, given that I'm already familiar with the characters and everything. I still plan on doing all the art for sure. (but really I'd appreciate any help I can get at this point) (mostly I want help finishing chapter 2 I'm so sick of chapter 2)

Alrighty, understandable. I think in terms of what I can offer, I can be someone to bounce ideas off if you get stuck or help look over scripts :3
