The Second NTWF Games: Volunteer as Tribute Today!

Warning: "NTWF Games" spoilers below!

It’s been five years since the NTWF Games: a dark time in the NTWF’s history, when in order to teach proper respect, the admins pitted twenty-four forumers in a vicious battle to the death. By the time the tributes turned the tables on the admins and escaped the wretched Games, there were only five survivors—and the admins responsible for the carnage were promptly sentenced to hefty prison terms for their despicable crimes.

In those five years, things around the NTWF have… changed. An unfortunate science experiment¹ led to dimensional boundaries somewhat crumbling—after which the NTWF saw a massive influx of immigrants from all sorts of places. Things went well at first. Until the more aggressive of the lot may or may not have taken over.

If you thought the admins were bad, you haven't met the mafia. 

Or Courdonians.

And with citizens of the NTWF bandying around ideas such as democracy and freedom, clearly something must be done. Maybe those admins had the right idea five years ago. Only they messed up. They let the Games get away from them.

But these new rulers mostly certainly will not.

I am calling this a ‘1am idea’. You know the type.

Basically, this is exactly what it sounds like. A sequel to the NTWF Games—but utilizing characters created for various NTWF RPs. Primarily, I’d like to pull from Mafia II, Mafia III, and Medieval. Therefore, if you have characters for any of these, please let me know if I can use them—and in what capacity I can use them. For example, if you’re okay with me using your character as an “admin pet” type, but don’t want them as a tribute, let me know.

If you don’t want any of your characters used, that’s fine, too. Just don’t post here, and I won’t use them. You’re also more than welcome to give me limited permission—for example, if you’re fine with your Mafia character being used but not your Medieval character.

I’d also like to use some characters who were NPCs in their RP, so no need to just limit yourself to giving permission for those who were player characters.

Finally, I realize that there are a fair number of forumers who somehow managed to survive the NTWF Games (by not being in them). XD I’d like to use a few of you as tributes. So if you think you fit this bill, please give me permission to use you! :’D On the flip side, there were five characters in the NTWF Games who were tributes and survived. Please reconfirm that I can use you in this instance (that would be: Celestial, Nova, Gelquie, Kristykimmy). Admins from the previous story will likely only be referenced in passing, and not utilized as actual characters. If this changes for some reason, I’ll let y’all know before using your likeness. XD;

Some characters I’d really like to have permission to use if it’s okay with their creators include: Travis Richem (Jayeee, Mafia III), Cheryl Roxanne Lewis (Tiger, Mafia III), Nathan Lukas (Nova, Mafia III), Kylie Devon (Gelquie, Mafia III), and Tracy Chaetura (Lizica, Mafia II). Obviously I will need more than these, but I have some ideas for those ones already. XD Also, it probably goes without saying that if you had an antagonistic character in any of those games, you are possibly going to be a candidate for one of the fun organizers. That would include any mafia member... or Courdonian. XD So, I need permission from at least a healthy dose of people fitting that criteria. Though don't think that having an antagonist in the RP means they'll be an organizer here. You know what, I'm sad to say that even the mafia may have run out of their tolerance for Travis Richem. =D

So, volunteer as tribute today! \o/

... oh, also I'm going to assume for the purposes of this that the inter-dimensional incident somehow revived dead people. ='D Because too many Mafia characters are ghosts otherwise. >_>

I'ma let you have poor dear Anna Dywight if you'd like her. And, of course, Kristy from the previous NTWF Games, but I'd like to state that I'm pretty sure she'd be fairly hell-bent against the idea of doing this to anyone, regardless of how big a jerk they are.

However, I suspect she'd like the idea of a game where they throw Travis into an arena and make others hunt him down. >D (I love Travis, really, Jayeee.)

8D I just totally changed the plot, anyone who saw the initial plot that made no sense DID NOT SEE IT.

Because this makes way more sense. XD Kristykimmy don't worry, Kristy won't be running these at all. >D

You have permission to use any of my characters. And Gelquie. (The change in plot makes more sense for her now, cause previously, I was having trouble justifying in my head her position. xD I guess whichever makes the most sense for her?)

Feel free to use any of my characters. I have a feeling either or both of Fella and Ancel in particular would fit quite well (especially with Jurassic World and general deranged depravity, respectively) as organizer or admin pet or cleanup staff or tribute or whatever works (Fella more likely to do any of the above totally naively).

Any of the Marsons (excluding the ones PFA came up with, for whom you will need to ask her) would make a nice flash mob, even if poor tribute. Maybe they could be used for target practice in training, or the green ninjas that make perfect hair sweeps for shampoo commercials (or, y'know, body cleanup duty while chiming in with a cheery tune).

In terms of character motivation, Kaldora's appearance probably would depend on being forced, or observing/aiding/message-relaying from outside of the event's schema, or if Ilaria was present (in which case mad rush for reunity if nothing else) or Ancel heavily involved (in which case more revenge); she'd be quite unlikely to serve as organizer or admin pet, though (unless you want to come up with a creative reason for it to be in-character, in which case, go for it).

The (Mafia III) gnome secretary is also available if you want him, but he'd be hard to fit in anything but a one-off joke.

Finally, petition to have Komrade Killix make an epic return in some capacity

Feel free to reuse Celestial and I'll happily throw Pallada and Lucille into the mix. Pallada would make an excellent organiser and she would be overjoyed to be working with Leland and historical figures.

I do however, hesitate on including the Stallion brothers as characters that can be used. Not because I'm against awful things happening to them, far from it, but because there is no way those two would cooperate with the plot and remain IC. And since they would be one unit working towards one goal, they would be a force to be reckoned with. I'm scared they'll derail your plot. xD

So, I guess if you can work with them and keep them IC while still having your Games, go for it. If not, best leave them out.

My bodies (and Leo's and Laurie's and especially Demongoat's) are ready for whatever role you need to fill. I'm not sure how Leo might end up in there, except to protect some poor innocent Aifamian. Laurie can be shoved somewhere as long as there's someone to "protect". x3 I, uh, can hugsqueeze people and hide behind them! \o/
