The Medieval/Mafia-verse Story Anthology!

So now that Medieval is over and everyone is talking about the amazing side-stories and fanfics they’re gonna write, I thought it was time to release this idea into the wild.
The Medieval/Mafia Story Anthology!!
Basically, I want to organize a short story collection based in the Medieval/Mafia universe, written by all of the people who have made that universe so amazing! Whether it’s character backstories, future stories, random worldbuilding, collab-fics, shameless ‘shipping, you name it - I want it in this anthology.
Okay, so what’s the end result going to look like?
At the very least: a nice, shiny PDF and/or e-book that everyone can download and enjoy!
And if there’s interest: a print-on-demand paperback through someplace like Lulu or CreateSpace, so that everyone can have Medieval and Mafia characters on their shelves! (It’s free to create a book on these sites, so the only people who’d need to pay would be the people who want to order a copy.)
So how big is this gonna be?
I honestly don’t know! It depends on how much interest this gets. If there’s enough interest in a print version, how big we can make it depends on cost, because I highly doubt that anyone’s gonna want to pay for an 800 page book. If there’s a high enough number of stories from both Medieval and Mafia, I may split it into two volumes.
On the other hand, if there’s not enough stories submitted, it won’t be worth making a print copy in the first place, but I don’t have a lower limit in place for the digital version. It will exist, even if just one person signs up!Because I’m a dork who likes formatting stuff like this.
What if I’ve already written stuff?
Then send it in! Just let me know which ones you want to include and that I have permission to use them.
How many things can I send?
I’m not going to impose a limit on that until I know how many people are interested. Just keep in mind that there MAY be a limit in the future, so you might want to be thinking about which of your submissions are your favorites.
What if I want to draw a thing?
DRAW THAT THING. At the very least we’ll need cover art, so bear that in mind, all you artistic types. I would also love to include a fanart section in the book itself. Just remember that if we do a print version, it will need to be printed in black and white to keep costs down.
What if I want to write a thing with another person?
Then do that! I’ll just need permission from both of you to include it.
What if I want to do an INTERPRETIVE DANCE?
Garrick, get out.
Below is a list of the brave souls who are interested in this project! Bear in mind that signing up isn't a commitment, it's just letting me know you are interested and opening yourself to further pokes and prods from me as I nail down more details about the project.
