After much deliberation, I'm putting this here for those who want to Word War in a group or with another person.
Basically, the rules are to write, nonstop, for a certain amount of time and (usually) compare word counts by the end. It helps a lot with productivity and concentration, at least for me. After all, writing is fun when you're doing it with another person isn't it?~ So break out your pencils, keyboards, and overly sharp quill pens.
It's time to d-d-d-DUEL!
*bricked*
Any takers?
*waits as crickets chirp*

As much as I would have loved to word war today, I had to go run some errands and started not feeling well on the way back, so I'm going to have to pass for tonight. ^^; I hope to get some writing in next week, though!
Question: Is revising allowed in word wars, or do you have to work on something you're still in the process of writing writing? I have projects to work on either way, but it seems like it's a little harder to get an accurate word count if you're fixing up a previously-written manuscript.

Anyone up for a word war today? I usually take a break on the weekends, but this idea is just too fun to pass up and I want to give it a try.

DID NOT SEE EITHER OF THESE ; I'm not sure about that, @surfersquid, perhaps if someone else has a finished manuscript and is editing it, they can work on it with you? I know someone who's messing with her finished novel... TOTALLY up for word warring right this second. *clears throat at everyone lurking* >w>

I can't think of a better spot ^^; But you've been here longer than me.
Today's my break day, but would you be up for word warring tomorrow morning, maybe?

Awesome, welcome aboard! Hope to see you tomorrow! 1:50 or 2:00 PM? I am trying to squeeze things in, I have class at 2:15 on the same computer. ^^; 2 sounds good to me, if that's not too much pressure on you. I think I'll work on my NT story. I'm excited, I'll finally be able to write the coolest part of this scene that I've been procrastinating on possibly because I'm intimidated by it! xD ... Er, what time zone are we talking, here? xD I'm in NST.

That's actually during my peak productivity hours, so it works out very well for me. xD So 10:30-11 for me, then? Sounds good! See you then! Have fun with your current word war!
