So you've probably noticed my avatar. If not, look to the left of these words, between where it says "Rainbow Dash fanboy" and "Posts: 30,059". That image right there, that's my new avatar. If you still don't see it, I don't know, maybe there's a problem with your computer loading images? Um... wow, how did I let this tangent go this far?
ANYWAYS, so this most recent avatar is of a pixelated version of R2-D2(from Star Wars if you didn't major in Pop Culture), which I made several years back with the intent of making adoptable droids in that same style.
If I were to make some adoptables, here's a few things I could do with them:
The first row is droids from the movies(with R2-D2 appearing twice, I believe all four are from the original movie), the second is to showcase some of the available heads and bodies, and the third is to show off some specialty things I'm willing to do, and also to give more ideas for color possibilities. It may be hard to tell on the provided image, but the middle droid in the second row has a transparent head, with the white parts being completely transparent on a finished droid, and the dark grey supposed to be its inner machinery.
The exact style may end up changing slightly as I may tweak it a bit to make some things a little more accurate and I think I'm going to spend the next few days streamlining my toolkit in any case, so...
Right now I'm considering letting the recipient of the droid choose whether they want a droid at 2x scale, the size above, or 1x scale, the size of the image below. I'm undecided at the moment whether to offer 3x scale droids(the size of my avatar), and may go either way assuming there's even a demand for it at all. 4 is right out.
*breedle-dee-beep!*
One last thing, feel free to request one even if you are not a "massive Star Wars Fanatic".
