Old and boring, or underused and interesting?

Well, I'm writing a fic involving some of the characters in the 'Ursurper' and 'Hunt for the Crown' plots (those two way back when the Lost Desert was found and after that silly Brucey B thing), and I'm kinda curious if anyone would read it or not if it ever got finished and published.
