So... I submitted my entry for the 600th issue really early, and it was rejected. (I saw the Editorial thing about 20 minutes after I submitted it). I'd left the word doc open on my laptop without saving it (like a baddie), and my computer restarted itself and didn't make a recovery copy for whatever reason. Is it possible that Droplet still has a version on her magical servers, or am I stuck re-writing it? Thanks all

Microsoft Word periodically auto-saves your document, maybe it's still in your computer.

Microsoft Word periodically auto-saves your document, maybe it's still in your computer. I've looked through all the places it saves temp documents, and the recent items list, and just about everything else I could think of to see if there was a recovered version anywhere. If any tech gurus know how to make my computer find it, that would be awesome too

I don't know if yours is different, but for me it is:
Open Microsoft Word > go to "file" > click on "recent" > and then "recover unsaved documents" on the bottom right.
If your document is not in there, I don't know what to do anymore. :/
